She was a roast beef kind of girl? That kind of surprised Colt, but he kept in mind for future dates. He liked Ebonie or at least what he knew of her so far and thought that he could possibly squeeze in a couple more dates with her before she became some boring ole oracle. But he handed over the sandwich and watched her out of the corner of his eye as he ate. But he smiled a bit when she asked him if he made them himself. He chuckled as he nodded his head slightly. "Yeah... sandwiches and cereal are my two specialties, so you're quite spoiled right now," he said as he smiled at her before turning back to eat his food.

"Food we can do," Colt said as he reached over to the basket and pulled out a couple of gourmet sandwiches along with other goodies to go with them. "Is there anything you prefer? Turkey? Ham? Roast beef? I made sure that these are better than the ones that mess hall makes." He got her hint of wanting to cuddle later and he was all about it. Cuddling while watching a movie. That was something he could definitely look forward to. He handed food over to Ebonie before he grabbed food for himself and started chowing down. "How do you like it?" he asked between bites of food.

It was a very good thing that Colt swooped in to save the day. He couldn’t imagine being around Chiron and that creepy oracle all day, let alone being forced to do it. But that was all about to change and Colt was going to make sure that Ebonie had the night of her life. And she needed it too, since he knew he would be bored out of his mind being around the Big House all day every day.
But he had a feeling it wouldn’t be too hard to entertain her with how she reacted to the date set up on the beach. He chuckled to himself as she took his hand and dragged him to the blankets as she plopped down. He admired her for a moment before he sat down beside her. “That would be up to you, I think,” he said with a slight chuckle in his voice. “We’ll do it in whatever order you want to do it in.”

“So in other words, you've only been hanging out with boring people,” Colt said with a slight chuckle as he shook his head. “Good thing I swooped in to spice things up.” He looked over at her with a bit of a smirk. “I've been good too. I've been busy with planning our date. And there it is.”
As they were taking, they managed to make it to the beach where the date was set up. There was a blanket set out with pillows and food while there was a projector a little bit in front of it so they could watch a movie. “You like?” he asked as he looked down at her again.
(So three months later, I realized you posted when I was waiting on you to post. Forgive me?)

Colt laughed a bit at Ebonie's joke. Was there going to be running involved? Physically, no. But probably her head and heart would be running or at least that's what Colt hoped for by the end of the date. But he couldn't lie and say that Ebonie wasn't stunning at that moment and he hoped that she would like what he had planned out for them. He smirked once her arm was linked with his before he led her towards the beach. Everything should be ready for them by the time they arrived. It was going to be absolutely perfect and he hoped she thought the same way too. "So how have you been since I last saw you?" he asked as he looked down at her.

Colt chuckled as he shook his head. "But I don't see the professionals wearing heels and dresses. They wear shorts and sneakers. Just an observation.” He handed her the ball and just stood there and watched her as she dribbled a bit before she attempted to make a basket. Colt wasn’t expecting anything too spectacular. She was flirting with him and this was part of the flirting. That didn’t mean she would actually be good at…
He stood corrected as he looked at the basket with raised eyebrows. She actually made the basket. That made her cute and pretty talented or at least pretty lucky. He looked back over at her with a slight smirk on her face. “It does and it looks like I’m behind right now.” He walked over to pick up the basketball as he started dribbling it. “And it looks like I can’t that it that easy on you,” he said with a chuckle as he started preparing a layup.

Colt was practicing a few shots when company decided to join him, but he didn't realize it at the moment. For some odd reason, his girl senses were not tingling at that moment. Maybe because he had Ebonie on his mind, but that couldn't have been the case. But he made another shot as a girl caught his attention. He turned around to face her fully as a smirk crept onto his face. "Care to join me," he asked as he chuckled a bit as he gave her a once over. "You don't look very dressed to be playing basketball... but I can't say no to a pretty lady..."
He looked over at the basketball that was a few feet away and willed the winds to push it over to him. He bent down to pick it up before he straightened back up to look at her. "And I promise to take it easy on you. Ladies first?"

Colt wasn't waiting for too long before the door breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't have to hang out with Chiron. Ebonie was there and she looked stunning. He let out a low whistle as he admired her as a big smile crept onto his face. He looked up at her as he chuckled a bit. "I don't think you're overdressed. I think I might be under dressed." He thought he was perfectly dressed for what he had planned, but next to Ebonie? Now he was wondering if he should set up their date a little bit.
But he extended his elbow for her to take as he raised an eyebrow at her. "You ready to get started with our date?"

Tonight was the night. It was Saturday night and that meant only one thing: his date with Ebonie. He hadn't really seen her all week, but he thought about her and made sure that this night was going to be a good one. He partially felt bad that she had to live in the Big House with Chiron, who seemed to be grumpy most of the time. So he was bound and determined to make sure that she had a good time and a hell of a date. He dressed up nice in his suit and tie. He had his hair combed back and he was neatly groomed. He knew how to dress up and he wanted to make sure that he didn't disappoint the future oracle. There was little extra bounce in his step as he strode towards the Big House. He hoped she'd be ready by now, since he didn't want to spend his evening chilling with Chiron. Once he got to the steps of the porch, he knocked on the front door and waited for someone to answer. When Ebonie said not to get handsy, Colt put his hands up to act a little bit innocent, but his smile was wide on his face. “Me? Handsy?” he laughed a bit as he shook his head. “I only treat ladies with the utmost respect. You will be a museum. I will look, but not touch.” His laugh turned into a slight chuckle as he winked at Ebonie. “But Saturday at 7 pm here. I will give you the best date ever.” He glanced over at the Big House before he shook his head. “Just don’t let Chiron open the door. I don’t want to go through that awkward date thing.” He took a step back and nodded his head at Ebonie. “And if you’ll excuse me, I got quite a few things I need to prepare for between now and Saturday. I’ll see you later, Ebonie.” He smiled to himself as he turned on his heels and headed back to the cabins as he mentally planned out the date he was going to have with her.

Colt raised an eyebrow at Ebonie as he could tell she was genuinely concerned over the fact of where she could get a dress here at camp. And to Colt, that was kind of cute. Well, really cute. He chuckled a bit as he shook his head. "If you want a temporary one, you can borrow one from the Aphrodite cabin. Or, you can buy one through the Hermes cabin if you want one that's your own." He shrugged his shoulders. When it came to female fashion, he was completely out of his league, but Ebonie was totally in his. He smirked a bit when she asked when their date would happen. "Well, I got to give you time to get the dress," he said with a slight smirk before he continued. "So how about this Saturday?"

Colt watched her, admired her really, as he watched her make her shot. However, he had to tear his eyes away from her to watch the ball fly towards the basket. For a moment, he felt the urge to use his powers to help her make her shot. But that urge went away pretty quickly once he saw that she was going to make a perfect basket. Nothing but net in her case. He chuckled once there was the whoosh of the net as he retrieved the ball and dribbled it back towards her. "You can open your eyes now," he said as he looked at her. "I guess you get a more elaborate date. You might need to pull out a dress for it."

He knew he was laying it on quite thick, but he loved the attention and the thrill he was getting from their little basketball game. But a more elaborate date if she happened to make a three pointer? That made Colt smirk a little wider. "You got yourself a deal," he chuckled as he moved to the three point arc so he could watch her make her shot. Would she make it? He didn't know, but he wanted to watch the talent she had, so he decided this powers were going to sit out for now. He stayed quiet as he watched her make her shot.

Colt couldn't help but notice that Ebonie was a little frozen in the moment. Or maybe she was in awe of his skills. Colt didn't know what it was, but he did know that he was going to nail this layup as long as she didn't block his shot. He managed to whiz past her as he shot his basket. Once the ball was out of his hands, he wanted as it sunk into the basket with nothing but net. He chuckled to himself as he looked over at Ebonie. "Would dinner and a movie suffice for the little lady or should I plan for something a little bit more elaborate for her?"

"Little girls, no," Colt snipped back as he moved to block her shot, but he was just a second too late that it already left her hands. He stared at the hoop for a second before he decided that he needed to cheat in order to guarantee that date. He had no backup plan if she happened to win on him. So he concentrated for just a moment so that the winds moved the ball around the circle of the hoop, but it ended up falling out without making a basket. He smirked as he recovered the ball. He looked at her before he said, "Women, maybe." He chuckled to himself as he brought the ball back to half court and started another layup. This was the funnest and hardest way he ever had to work for to get a date.
