[Tawny Mitchell]

“That’s only if I lose.” Tawny said cheerfully. It was clear that no matter what he thought Tawny was under the impression that she could always be a competitor and maybe she could. She certainly wasn’t one to turn down a challenge even if she didn’t overcome it. Besides, even if she lost she was left with the knowledge that she tried and did her best which was sometimes a reward in itself. “Maybe not but I’ve found that if you don’t try then you’re sure not gonna win. The trick is making sure that you win more than you lose.”

To be honest Tawny liked the thrill of the competition more than anything else. If she never challenged herself then she would never be able to come up with new tricks and if she never competed with anyone how was she supposed to know how good she was getting? That being the case she looked for ways to make most things into a competition even if it was something as simple as eating a massive pizza. “Don’t tell me that you’re scared of losing to a girl.” She said with a smirk and poked him under the table as she started on another piece of pizza. She didn’t think he was but a little teasing might make him come around to her way of thinking and even get them hanging out again.

Archer chuckled to himself as he eyed Tawny. He swore sometimes that she was all just talk, but he wasn't going to underestimate her after what he saw earlier. However, he thought it had it pretty safe that she'd eventually get sick from the pizza, but only time would tell. But that's when she teased him as she tapped his leg with her foot. He raised his eyebrows a bit. Was she really giving him those signals? But he shrugged it off before saying, “Oh, I'm not afraid, but you should prepare for admitting defeat to the Sink.” And with that, he focused on finishing off that pizza.

It was quite some time later before the Sink was demolished in front of them. Archer leaned back in his chair as he stretched before clasping his hands behind his head. “You hanging in there?” he asked he eyed Tawny making sure she was okay.

Tawny had eaten way too much. She knew she should have stopped but she had kept going out of sheer stubborn will. That wasn’t to say that the food was bad. To the contrary it was some of the best pizza she had ever eaten and getting to hang out with Archer was nice. Now that they were finally done though Tawny could honestly say that she was happy this experience was over. Next time she wasn’t going to challenge Archer to an eating contest. He had won this round.

“You may have to roll me back to the barracks.” Tawny said with a half chuckle. She would have laughed a little harder but right now her belly was so full it hurt to disturb it too much. “I know when I’ve met my match. I surrender.” Picking up a white napkin she waved it feebly in the air before sinking back into her chair. “At least we finished it though. I was starting to worry there for a minute but you came through."

Archer chuckled to himself as Tawny admitted defeat. A smirk crept onto lips that clearly said ‘I told you so.’ He straightened a bit up in his chair as she motioned to the server to get a wheelchair that they had on hand for these occasions. “That I can do if it won't hurt your pride too much.” He laughed as he raised his eyebrows at Tawny. “Oh, I wasn't fading. There's a technique to conquering the Sink. One that you're not going to learn right away.”

The server brought the wheelchair as Archer stood up and decided to take over from there. “Your chariot back to camp awaits,” he said as his smirk got a little bit bigger.

She wasn’t sure what he was motioning for but figure she would find out soon enough. Until then she would reserve her judgment on how much her pride would be hurt. “I’ll take your word for it.” She said as she turned her attention back to the idea of the pizza. “You’ll have to teach me some time. Just not for a few days. That’s how long I think it’s going to take before I can eat again. You really know your stuff Archer. I’ve got to hand it to you.”

As the wheelchair pulled up it took Tawny a minute to realize what Archer was talking about. It wasn’t until he mentioned her chariot that everything clicked into place. “A wheelchair? Really?” Tawny asked as her face brightened with a grin. She couldn’t believe he was actually going to roll her home but she thought the idea of Archer pushing her along in a wheelchair was just hilarious. She had to give him props for that one and as far as hurting her pride went she loved the idea so there were no worries on that count. “You’re crazy.” She said while still smiling. “But it’s my kind of crazy. I love it!” Chuckling to herself Tawny slid out of her seat and unceremoniously deposited herself in the wheelchair with her skateboard across her lap. Putting on a fact British accent as if she was a noble woman talking to her butler she added “I fear it’s time for us to depart. Home my good man.”

"It helps when you're a teenage boy as well," Archer chuckled as he shook his head. "But I might teach it to you sometime. Or maybe I'll keep it to myself so I can challenge someone else... or maybe you again." He smirked as he shook his head as he took his place behind the wheelchair. He put his hands on the handles and looked at Tawny as he raised his eyebrows expectantly. He didn't know how well she would take to the idea, but it was better than anything else at the moment unless she wanted to walk to camp with a full stomach. And he knew that was a horrible idea from experience.

But she seemed to like the idea enough to have a wide grin on her face as she climbed into the wheelchair and started speaking to him as some noble British woman. "That's the worst accent ever," he said as he started to push her out of the restaurant as he rolled his eyes. "We might need to get you accent lessons as well when I teach you how to conquer the Sink."

Teenage boy or not Tawny wasn’t too far off from conquering the sink. Archer had better watch it or next time she just might turn the tables on him and if he was smart he would choose a new challenge for her just to keep her on her toes. She couldn’t help it really. She was just a constant thrill seeker and new challenges kept things interesting. There would be time for that later though. She liked the idea of hanging out with Archer again and if there was more food involved then that was fine as well. She had fun tonight.

“Oh come on I’m a skateboarder not and actress.” She said with a laugh. “I thought it was pretty good considering the most British thing I’ve ever seen is Mary Poppins. Are you going to teach me accents too?" Maybe Tawny could use a few accent lessons but she didn’t think Archer would be giving them. Neither one of them seemed to be the fancy British type anyways and it was much more fun to just joke around. Besides, considering how full they were it was probably a good idea to call it a night. "We should probably head back to the barracks though." She said as she ran her hands over the wheels of the wheel chair. "I can't wait to see how fast we can get this thing going."

Archer rolled his eyes as she said she was a skateboarder and not an actress. But was he going to teach her accents as well as conquering the sink? "Well, we will have to see about that when the time comes," he said in a perfect British accent as he looked down at Tawny and smirked. He had mastered a variety of accents because of his time working with the street gang as they pulled off various cons. Plus, it didn't hurt that he could pick up languages and accents easily because of his father.

But Tawny was right. It was time to roll her back to the barracks. With a chuckle, he pushed her out of the restaurant into the streets. He looked both ways to make sure that the way was clear before a mischievous smirk crept on his face. "I think we can get this going pretty fast. Hold on tight," he said before he started pushing Tawny and running at the same time.

Tawny chuckled as Archer put on one of the most convincing accents she had ever heard. She may have not been good at accents or acting but obviously Archer had some hidden talents that she was just now discovering. "You know," she said contemplative as she looked up at him from her seat. "You're pretty good at that. You're just full of surprises Archer Davidson."

She would have to find out more about Archer. He was a pretty fun guy to hang out with after all and he was becoming pretty interesting as well. For now though she was content just to have a little more fun before the night ended. As she grabbed on to her seat Archer started picking up speed and much like a roller coaster she couldn't help but smile and laugh as she rode all the way back to the barracks.
