Leon helped pull her up before she put her top back on. He smiled as she said she would join him. He also didn't miss her glower at the flaming ball of gas in the sky, also known as the sun. He was confused as to what she meant when she said she could get them there faster. "Faster Mona? How so?" He then watched as she did, something. He noticed her skirt start to move, despite there not being a breeze at all. He then noticed all of the local shadows rushing towards them. He was surprised but not startled, after all, she had threatened him in the same-ish manner earlier. He watched closely as she formed it into a, portal? Yes, it seemed to be a portal of some kind.
"I suppose that answers that question, eh? So, this thing is entirely safe?" He gently handed her back her parasol as he walked over to the portal to examine it. Picking up a piece of driftwood from nearby, he did the most logical thing he could think of at the time. He began to poke at the portal with the stick. Finding the stick to come back unharmed he heard her next words and laughed a bit. He held out his arm to her and said, "I suppose I'm ready if you say it's safe. I trust you not to kill me, or dump me in the middle of Egypt." He smiled again here, a twinkle coming into his eye at the prospect of a new way to travel. |

Leon listened to the newly dubbed Jason speak for a moment, thinking on which cabin he was in. Cabin seven? Apollo I believe. Yes, that seems right. He smiled a bit as he mixed up some more colors into a dark grey on his palette. He used the paint scraper again to form the tops of mountains with the dark grey color. He paused for a moment to clean off the scraper and glance over at the painting his, neighbor, yeah, was creating. So far, he had two tones of grass. It was, interesting so far. He took another glance at the younger man, "The name's Leon, cabin nine." He grabbed up his large brush again and used it to drag down the greys to fade to the white of the canvas, simulating the fog nearer the base of the mountains.
Grabbing the scraper again he grabbed more white and capped of the sun side of the mountains with it, being very gentle here as one mistake could cost him the effect he wants. Clearing the scraper again he mixed some blue and white together to get the blue type of color snow has when it is shadowed and he applied it to the other sides of the mountains. "So, what brings you in here today Jason? Just looking to get your happy tree on?" |

Leon glanced up for a moment at the young man who walked in the door. He placed the brush back into the water before picking the paint scraper back up and used it to start adding clouds to the sky. He heard them approach him and speak. His listened as he gathered more titanium white from his palette and added one last cloud before taking a better look at this person. It was a young man, he'd guess between 14 and 18, that was a good few inches shorter then he was. Looking him over again he saw a musical instrument over his shoulder. "Thank you. And sure you can join, I don't mind. I just really got started up so I will be here for some time." He gave the young man a smile and turned back to his canvas. Grabbing up his big brush again, he took it to where he had done the white for the clouds. He began to brush out the white, turning it wispy and cloud like.

Leon had no plans for the rest of the day really. He was just going to wander around all day after getting his sun on. He figured it best to put on more clothing before doing anything he supposed. His state of dress would more then likely attract the attention of several of the women around camp and that wasn't what he wanted.
He stood up as gracefully as he could manage, stretching out gently. He grabbed Mona's parasol, being careful to keep it over her body. He extended a hand down to her to help pull her up. "Well for now Mona, I think it best to put more clothing on. Unless you would rather continue to look at my body as it is now. I think it best to return to my cabin and at least place a shirt and some shoes on. So, will you join me? It would be best to also think about what we can do, as I had no plans besides maybe fiddle around with my car or build something in the forges." He smiled down at her and looked deep into her eyes again. |

Leon watched the blush spread across her cheeks with a sly smile. He was really glad he could make her blush still, after earlier. He hadn't lost his touch while overseas it seemed. The young woman in front of him was really green in his mind, having never done this before apparently. He would try to help her as best as he could. She would make some guy a lucky man. Not him though, he wasn't ready to settle down right now, he had other things to do. He listened to her for a moment, his smile growing a little bigger, watching as she looked at him through her eyelashes. "Well, I'm glad to be of service any time you need it. So, do you want to join me in something else now? I believe I'm done trying to even this blasted tan back out for the day."
He smiled at her again, this time just being a genuine smile of friendship. He remembered her saying something about sleeping and was curious as to if she wanted to head off to sleep or join him in doing something else. |

Leon wasn't sure what Mona was doing as she leaned towards him. Then he felt her lips settle on his and he blinked. Her eyes were still open as she kissed him, and not wanting to dissapoint her, he leaned into the kiss and closed his eyes. It was a nice feeling, just as he remembered it being. She had very soft lips. He simply held the kiss for a few seconds before he pulled away from her.
He gave her a gentle smile and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. He looked her in the eyes again, and spoke, "So, how was is that time? Better I'd hope." He was hoping he didn't dissapoint her, as he had come to like this woman for her company. |

Leon held up his hands as she was still pointing at him while speaking. "Alright, no problem. If you need a lift to get anything just let me know. I've got a car." He smiled at her before dropping his hands as she dropped hers. He watched her as she pressed her lips together and began thinking on what she wanted to do next with him. He thought it was cute. He saw her glance at the lake and shuddered a bit. He hoped she wouldn't try to drag him in there today.
He laughed as she looked at him with big eyes. "Inviting me back to your cabin already, eh? You girls sure do move fast here. But in all seriousness, I would love to join you for some good vinyl. One can never get too much of the King." He nodded his head before stepping up beside her. He offered her his arm and nodded back towards the cabins. "Lead the way, Sammy J." He smiled a bit at his little rhyme and waited for her to drag him off.

Leon nodded his head at her sagely words. No one truly would ever be like the King or the Beach Boys. "Truer words have never been spoken my friend." He watched as she got up, and then tried to pull him up. She didn't exactly count on he weight he supposed but got up anyway due to her excitement.
As he got to his feet and dusted off his backside, he saw her face scrunch up as she remembered something. He was a little sad that there was no fondue right then, but he would live with it. "Alright, just come find me when you want to hold this epic fondue party. I promise I'll come and hang out with you." He gave her a big smile and a thumbs up. "So, what do you want to do now Sammy J?"

Leon smiled at Mona after hearing her response. "You know, I've always enjoyed that word. Mayhap. Has a nice ring to it." He was trying to get the conversation onto a safer topic. He could feel a bit how this was making her a bit uncomfortable, especially with how she reacted to the kiss. He wanted to push the topic away before he heard her response. The way she said it made him feel a little irritated, like he was forcing her to kiss him.
As he saw her look out over the water he slowly brought his hand up to her chin and cupped it, gently pulling her gaze back to his eyes. He softened them to a point of kindness and spoke, "Mona, I'm not daring you to do anything. I'm just saying that if ever in the future, you want to give this another shot, I'll be here to help you. Whether it be advice or if you want to use me to get better. I'm not going to force you to do anything again. I said I was sorry earlier and that I wouldn't do that anymore and I meant it." He gave her his warmest and most sincere smile here. He really didn't want her to be awkward or uncomfortable around him. He liked her so far and wanted to keep her as a friend.

Leon heard some music coming out of the radio and quickly identified it as Boston's "Take You Home Tonight." He liked where this was going so far. "Thanks, I've spent years working on her. If this run goes well, I'll probably start on the upgrades in a week or two. I can't wait to get started on them." He smiled a normal smile here before he payed more attention to the song. It was at the perfect point.
He smirked and scooted around to the passenger side of the car. He opened up the door and made an exaggerated bowing motion to Amy. "Your chariot awaits, Mi'lady. Come and join me for a ride. Let me take you home tonight." He put on his good smirk and waited for her enter his car.

Leon watched her as she seemed to look at his arms intently for a bit. Did she expect them to burst back into flame? He wouldn't do that so close to her, as it my wind up hurting her. He was far enough back earlier not to hurt her. He liked helping his friends, not hurting them. He smiled at her caution, before calling her on what she had said. "Bollocks, if you wanted to smite me you would have. You don't strike me as the kind of person to leave something open like that Mona."
He listened to her break down the kiss, like it was a kind of science. Kissing wasn't much of a science, there was a little research behind it but it was mostly skill. "Well, don't just break it down like that. You should just enjoy it. It was just a chaste kiss, it wasn't supposed to be spectacular. If you want one of those, all you have to do is ask. I can give you more of a demonstration if you require it." He gave her a small smile here, not his usual cocky grin, just a small smile.

Leon smiled as she allowed him to sit back down on his own towel. He knew that eventually he could get through to this girl, he just needed to take a few risks that he hoped would pay off. Thankfully they had this time. He slowly walked back over to his towel, making no sudden movements as she still had her shadows at the ready. He sat back down beside her, just as close as he had been before. He may have been afraid of her hurting him before, but now he just wanted to see what she had truly thought of the kiss.
"So, talk. You let me sit, so on some level, you enjoyed that." That grin made it's way back onto his face, the one for when he knew he was right for once. He was eager to hear what she had to say, and maybe, gods be willing, give her another kiss if she so desired. He wasn't sure that would happen, but if it did, he wasn't going to complain.

Leon's smile left his face as he watched the shadows rise behind his new friend. Seeing something flash in her eyes, and hearing the tone of her voice, he unconsciously took a step back and dropped into a fighting stance. His fists and arms lit up with bright flames. Seeing what he was doing he shook his head and doused the flames on his arms and stood back up. "I dug my grave, now it's best if I just lay in it. Let me rephrase that. If you had been expecting it, or willing it, how would you have enjoyed that? If not then feel free to strike me, but if you did, I ask that you at least allow me to sit down."
He held his arms out and down, spread his legs a bit, and looked up into the sky with his eyes closed. He would accept whatever she did to him, whether it was to send him flying, or to get up and kiss him herself.

Leon felt himself get shoved by the woman in front of him, he fell back just over the edge of the towel. He looked up, not so much in shock, but in fear of her. Looking into her face, he let is own fall in shame, seeing the shock and horror present there. After hearing of her powers he was more then a little wary, especially when the shadows started to wrap around his ankles, giving him goosebumps. Having none of that he quickly ignited them with fire to ward off the shadows and get warmth back to his legs. He quickly stood upon hearing her words, and brushed himself off, before bowing low to her. "You have my deepest apologies. I was unaware this would have such a bad reaction. I promise you that I will never kiss you again, without your permission."
Being himself though, Leon couldn't help but ask a question. He knew this could land him deeper in trouble, but he knew he could survive worse then this girl could ever produce on him. He had made it back from Iraq after all. "So, how was it?" He couldn't stop the small grin on his face after he said that, but he was still fully ready to run for his life. Survive or not, an angry woman was terrifying.

Leon was a little surprised that her blush had disappeared. He had a confused look on his face, while he listened to her speak. He sat back up and thought hard on what she had said. Those girls in the Aphrodite Cabin had it kind of right, but not completely. "While it's true that most men may think with their lower brains, it's not best to talk about it much. The male phallus isn't the best topic of conversation most of the time. I'd start with a complement on their appearance and then see how they take it best. Most women when they flirt usually act coy, batting their eyelashes and speaking softly. They also giggle a lot at what the man says and act all, well, girly. They are usually the most often party to initiate physical contact. I'm not exactly sure how women flirt with each other, as flirting like a man would wouldn't normally work. I'd suppose doing the same things wouldn't work, so at that point it would be more about getting the intent of the fact that you are attracted to them across." He paused here to do more thinking. He listened to her next words and made a note of that, not an ideal introduction. Perhaps he could give her a better experience and get her to enjoy it more this second time around.
This is going to be risky, he thought to himself, but if it works, it should help to get her to open up to more intimacy. Deciding on his current course of action, he sent a silent prayer to Aphrodite and did the most illogical thing that he thought could still work. I hope this doesn't backfire on me too hard, I would really enjoy spending more time with her, even if it's just talking. He slowly leaned in again and brought his hand up to softly stroke her cheek before leaning in more and kissing her softly on the lips.
