Charlie didn't really completely realize that he should've added more to the wow he had just said moments ago. His brain wasn't exactly all there at that moment as he was basically lost in Accalia's beauty. But she said something that completely snapped him out of his trance as he started to rapidly shake his head. "No no no. It was a good wow. Like... gods, Accalia, you're beautiful." But he realized what he said and his face really went red as he quickly took the magic makeup off of her. Either way, she was completely perfect in his eyes.
He laughed nervously a bit before he coughed a little. "We should probably head back to camp soon," he said with a little bit of a shrug. "I can tell you the longer that we're out, the more my siblings are going to grill me."

Charlie found his face heating up from his cheeks to his ears as Accalia said she liked the natural look on him. She liked that. Well, except for the occasional zit or whatnot, Charlie really had more excuses not to use his magic makeup powers on himself. But as his face heated up, his powers diminished on his face so it went back to his natural state. A state that Accalia said she liked.
But now it was time to see if his powers would work on someone else without him screwing it up. So he used his powers on Accalia and hoped that he didn't mess up. Once he was done, he peeked through his eyelids at her before his eyes snapped wide open. He didn't think she could get any more gorgeous, but here she was in front of him. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. It was like... she was glowing. She tried to ask for his opinion, but he could only gap his mouth open and close like a fish out of water as he tried to find his answer. "Wow..." he finally responded after a few moments.

Her mouth was open. Oh gods... he had to look horrible. He just had to. He was probably some clown looking thing right there and then. There was a reason he didn't use his powers except for the occasional pimple or blemish. And here he was in clown makeup. He didn't have to worry long though before Accalia actually said something to him. He looked incredible? He let out a breath that he didn't realize that he'd been holding before he smiled slightly at her. "Yeah... I heart the magic kind of makes it a bit unnatural, but it's probably weird on me because I don't use it a lot like my siblings." Plus a guy wearing makeup was a weird idea in his mind either way. But he raised his eyebrows when she said she wanted it done. "Oh... okay," he said as he slowly nodded his head as he closed his eyes and focused on using his powers on Accalia. Hopefully he wouldn't butcher it. He didn't think he could afford to mess up her makeup tonight."

She did have a point. There was no use using his powers on her when she couldn't see the end result. Besides, he didn't want to mess up and make her look like a drag queen or whatever. At least on him, no feelings would be hurt just maybe his ego. He nodded his head in agreement as he closed his eyes and concentrated. He scrunched up his face as he thought about what he wanted to look like. His face glowed for a moment as his powers took hold. His skin became flawless, his eyebrows filled in, his face contoured. He tried to keep it on the natural side, since he didn't know what good on him or not. He just used it to cover up an occasional pimple. But after a few moments, the glow went away and Charlie opened his eyes as he looked at Accalia, trying to keep the blush off of his face.

Charlie couldn't help but be a little bit concerned for Accalia. Something serious had to happen to her if she wasn't going to use her powers and he swore for a moment that she was going to cry. But she didn't and Charlie was partly relieved. He didn't know what he would've done if she broke down crying.
But he didn't have to worry about it too long as his powers were brought up. His face really heated up at the mention of his magic makeup. “I don't use it as much as my siblings,” he explained before he raised his eyebrows. “But do you want me to do it on you or me?”

Charlie knitted his eyebrows together when Accalia mentioned her powers. She was so good at them, but why did she stop? Why would any demigod stop using their powers? But that seemed like something that he shouldn't pry into at the moment. It was their first not-date anyway and he didn't want things to turn out horribly because of him. He gave her an encouraging smile as he pushed back her hair again.
"That's good," he said as a slight blush crept up onto his cheeks. He didn't know how he felt about being a reason she was feeling better, but at least she was feeling better. And she had to be feeling better with that joke of hers. Charlie laughed as he shook his head. "Nah, as far as I know, we don't have kissing powers and I know for certain that I don't have those charmspeak powers like some of my siblings. But I could do magic makeup on you."

Charlie looked at Accalia all concerned as he knitted his eyebrows together slightly. He hoped that she was okay and nothing serious had happened. He wondered how he was going to get her down from here if she needed medical attention. He wasn't the strongest but hopefully he would be able to carry her on his back or something. But she shook her head and he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. "That's good," he said as he nodded his head slightly. "I mean... not the dizzy part, but it's not worse. Yeah... breathing might help... also laying down might help or at least I've heard it helps." He chuckled nervously as he stroke her hair a bit. "But those are pretty impressive powers that you have there."

Don't freak out? Charlie didn't know what there was to freak out about. He was only kissing Accalia, but then he felt it. He felt the tendrils wrap around his ankles. However, they weren't monster or anything vicious. They felt like branches just making sure they wouldn't fall out of place. Accalia was making sure they were comfortable up here for a quite a while and Charlie couldn't help but smile against her lips slightly. That was until she pulled away. He opened his eyes to look at her and noticed that something was off. "Hey," he said as he moved his hand to push some of her hair out of her face. "You doing okay? You don't look so good."

She had a beautiful smile. Something that would burn in his mind forever, but things seemed perfect for that moment. Almost a little too perfect like something horrible was going to go wrong, but it didn't let it bother him too much. However, she suggested that they move down to the ground. The ground was definitely safer. They have less severe injuries if they fell while on the ground instead of in a tree. "Yeah... let's do that," he said while he was a little too reluctant to let her go so they could go down. However, she must've felt the same reluctance as well because it wasn't long before hers lips found his and her hand moved from his shirt to his hair. He groaned against her lips slightly as he kissed her back and held onto her close. Maybe being up in the tree wasn't completely horrible. At least they'd be safe from the monsters for now.

Charlie was lost. In her. In this kiss. And probably in the forest to be completely honest. But that didn't seem to matter right at that moment, since he was kissing her and holding her close. However, like all good and nice things, they needed to come to an end or maybe a brief pause. Accalia pulled away from his lips to catch his breath, but he was a little breathless as well. He opened his eyes to study her face. The color of her eyes and the smoothness of her skin. Things that he studied while painting her, but it was so much more while he was up close. He chuckled a bit as he moved his hand from behind her head to cup her cheek and run his thumb along her cheekbone. "Yeah," he said just as breathlessly as he chuckled a bit. "I think this is the best not-date ever to be honest."

Charlie felt the bow leave his lap, but he thought nothing of it. There were more important things to worry about, like kissing Accalia. And that seemed to be her only concern as well since she moved in closer to him. He didn't think twice as he wrapped his arm around her waist as he cradled the back of her head with his other hand as he kept kissing her. Gods. He understood now why his siblings gushed about it. He couldn't get enough from her. And he wanted more, but he wanted to savor it as well. So he held her close to her as they kissed. Partly because he wanted her close to him and partly to make sure they didn't fall off the branch they were on.

She was laughing. Was it at him? What was so funny? His face heated up a little bit more before he blinked a couple of times. She wasn't laughing at him. Instead, she was… complimenting him? And it wasn't just one. It was several. And it was… a little bit weird, but she wasn't mad at him for kissing her. But his face still heated up. But seeing her up close and blushing, he couldn't deny she was completely beautiful. “Okay…” he said softly to her. “I won't.” And he didn't. Instead, he closed the gap between their lips once more to continue what he interrupted.

Charlie never kissed anyone before and only imagined how it would feel, but he thought that Accalia was an excellent kisser. Her lips were just so soft against his own and the way her hand was curling into his shirt. He was kissing her. That thought finally hit him as he pulled away from her lips abruptly. What was he doing? “Sorry,” he muttered to her as his face went bright red. “Sorry… I… I mean.... sorry.” He felt like such an idiot at the moment. What kind of guy apologized after kissing a girl? But he thought he might have made a mistake. Maybe.

It felt like an eternity watching the arrow fly and then eventually land. And it didn't land beside the monster. Oh no. It sink into the monster's eye and the creature let out a shriek before it exploded into gold dust. He did it. He actually did it. His jaw slacked as he lowered his bow. “I did it,” he said with his voice getting giddy. “I did it!” He turned back to Accalia and that's when he realized that her hand was still on his chest and she was close to him. It must've been the endorphins or something flowing through him, because that was the only thing that could explain the next thing he did. He didn't give it much thought as he leaned in towards her to press his lips against hers.

Charlie thought he had a pretty good aim at the monster and just followed it with his spew for a moment. He didn't realize that Accalia went full teacher mode on him until she put her hand on his chest. He was startled for a moment before he took that deep breath as she suggested. One deep breath. Two breaths. He tracked the monster again as he pulled the string back to his mouth. Three breaths. He let go of the string as he watched the arrow fly towards the unsuspecting monster. His heart pounded in his chest as it seemed time seemed to go in slow motion. Would it make it? Would it hit it?
