Theo felt for Hailey, he really did. He wanted to go to her but was still unsure if she even wanted him there. He thought that the fact she was still here was a good sign but even that didn’t tell him much. That uncertainty might always be between them now, he wasn’t sure. Even if she could forgive him could he really forgive himself? There really was no way to tell but he did take a cautious step towards her hoping to continue forward if she didn't refuse to let him.

"Hailey, you don't have to apologize for her. What she did was wrong to me but even more so to you." It was good to hear that Hailey hadn't decided on a course of action yet. That helped Theo breathe a slight sigh of relief but he could tell she was still struggling with what had happened. Theo wasn't really sure if he could help with that or not but he did have a suggestion. "There are things that we can do to her." He said testing the grounds of this conversation cautiously. "Magic things. Maybe not exactly what she deserves but I do know a few spells that might help put a stop to her or at least bring her out in the open."

Calling out their parents, now there was something Theo could get behind. Someone needed to answer for all this and if Chiron really didn't know anything then they might as well go to the source right? It made sense and even though it probably wouldn't be easy to get their parents' attention Theo thought he could do it with a little research, besides it would at least give him something to do instead of sitting back and spending his time trying to crack this particular nut but himself. "Alright," He said finally after he had turned the idea over in his head a few times. "It won't be easy to do but this at least makes sense. Since Hephaestus and Hecate didn't leave us any clues to go off of then we might as well go to the source and see if we can get some answers out of them."

Theo nodded at James's statement about being stuck together and indeed it did look like they would be dealing with each other quite a bit in the future. That was okay though. Theo would need some help as he prepared to call their parents out and James looked to be the best option. "Sounds like we've got a plan. As for you and me, I think we've got some preparation to do." Nodding his thanks to Chiron Theo motioned towards the exit and continued. "Come on James. Looks like we've got some gods to track down."

Theo huffed obviously taking this a bit more personally James had. Granted he supposed he couldn't be too mad at Chiron since he had never really been around much to help the situation and if the old centaur really didn't have any idea about what to do with them then that was somewhat better than if he had just been holding on to this information for no reason, he guessed. In any case it seemed like Chiron was just as confused about all this as they were.

"Don't look at me. Mom doesn't like playing favorites with her kids so we're all kind of left to fend for ourselves. Maybe they'd be willing to talk now that they know we've actually found out about this mess though. Who knows?" Theo had never really tried communing with his mom thinking that if she wanted to talk then they would but maybe their parents had just been waiting for a time like this when everyone kind of knew about the situation instead of choosing to spring it on them before they were ready. "I don't know, maybe I can work up a spell or something."

Theo wasn't sure what he expected out of Hailey. Part of him wanted to make the girl mad because he was mad and he couldn't understand why she was doing this. Still, another part of knew this wasn't really like her and that something else was going on here but at the moment that seemed unimportant. Despite his own emotions coming into play however he surely never expected her to say what she did and the thought of that stopped his anger dead in its tracks when he heard it.

Hailey began talking about how she had a twin, an identical one no less, and for some reason she kept switching between talking about her as if she was in the past and as if she was still around. It wasn't making any sense but it did make Theo's blood run cold at the very thought. A twin...Hailey had a twin. That wasn't right, that couldn't be right. Why hadn't he seen her before? Why hadn't she mentioned her before? What in Hades was going on here?

Theo put a hand to his head as Hailey continued to explain about her twin sister dying in a monster attack but by the time she began to question whether her sister was really alive or not he was already lost in his own thoughts again and barely heard her. This couldn't be right. It was something that happened in a Soap Opera on TV not in real life and yet here they were with Hailey acting like she had no idea of something that clearly happened. Which made more sense that Hailey would try to forget the night they shared or that something more sinister was going on here? Still, he knew Hailey didn't he? He was sure it was her wasn't he?


Theo stepped away from her to find a seat in a nearby chair and practically collapsed down into it. He suddenly realized that he had his doubts even from the beginning. Hailey hadn't been acting like herself and he had known it but he got caught up in the moment, pushed those concerns to the side and...got carried away. "It was you. I know i was you." He didn't want to admit it but even those words couldn't help to answer those lingering doubts and if they didn't what did that mean he had done? "Hailey... I...This can't be right."

This was wrong. Theo didn't know what had changed but the way Hailey was acting was really...well like she didn't even know what he was talking about. What was going on? He certainly thought they had a good time. Granted she did cut out on him early and that could have been a sign she didn't but still, one bad or regretted night was no reason to pretend like the whole thing had never happened. What was she thinking?

Hailey was pulling away from him though and judging by the expression that she had on her face Theo thought it would be a good idea to let her. "The jackalope?" He said with an unbelieving chuckle. "This isn't about the jackalope. Gods Hailey you gave me a whole lot more than a stuffed jackalope. Stuffing the jackalope is more like it." It probably wasn't the best time for his pesky sense of humor to show itself but he was a creature of habit and besides that he was a little upset that she would just blow their time together off like that. “Look if you’re having second thoughts now I’m sorry. Maybe I should have tried a little harder to get you to hold on and think about things but if you’ll remember it was you who came on to me.”

Theo walked with James to the Big House in silence. Silence want usually Theo's thing, he liked to hear himself talk, but this day had been too whacky, too crazy for him to enjoy cracking jokes or even amuse himself by casting spells as they went. There was just too much to think about and as they walked Theo continued to try and puzzle out some meaning behind the day's events and this other who, oddly enough, shared his face. He wasn't sure what answers they could expect but he hoped they would find something out from Chiron.

As they reached the centaur's office James knocked. It took Chiron a moment to answer but when the door was opened the pair was greeted with the centaur's smiling face as if he had been expecting them. That was a little disconcerting as a part of Theo had hoped the old centaur hadn’t known anything about what was going on. It was better than the alternative of him keeping something from them after all. In either case Theo wasn’t so sure how he felt about Chiron’s warm grin. “Yeah that’s what I’m wondering.” He said as he moved into the room to join James with his arms crossed. ”What’s the big deal keeping this all a secret?"
