It was finally game night. Theo wasn’t really sure what to expect out of tonight but one thing was for sure, he was looking forward to it. If the games Hailey really had in mind were anything like the 'games' they had played earlier in the week then Theo thought that this would turn out to be a very eventful evening. Granted he usually enjoyed Hailey's company and it was nothing against any of the board games they had agreed on bringing earlier but that first night they had shared together had been nothing short of amazing.
He wondered what it was really going to be. Strip Candyland? A game of Pretty, Pretty Princess where he ended up in just a crown? Or would it be another game of doctor? Theo had no idea but he had seen a side of Hailey that night that he really liked and hoped he got a chance to see it again before the night was through. Maybe this time since the event was a little more planned she would even decide to stick around until morning instead of leaving him to wake up alone. Nobody liked that.
Theo's mind wasn't just on the sex of course. That was a pretty big part of it but he did really want to see her again. Since that night they had slept together the Hephaestus girl had been incredibly hard to find. He wasn't sure what she had been up to but getting to see her again was definitely a good thing. Fortunately he wouldn't have to wait much longer.
As if summoned by his thoughts a knock on the door signaled that his wait was over. Smirking and putting on as much swagger as he thought the situation called for Theo made his way over to the door and swung it open to see her there. "Well hey there Hailey. Long time no see. Sorry about the lack of fireworks but I'm still seeing some from the other night so hopefully you'll give me a pass this time."

Theo could have honestly kept talking to Hailey for a while yet but that was nothing out of the ordinary because Theo liked to hear himself talk. Still, he also had the good sense to know when a conversation had reached its end. Hailey's sudden pause mid sentence and 'oh crap' exclamation let him know that this was one of those times. He wasn't exactly sure who this sister she was taking about was but it was obvious that they had something planned and he decided it was best not to keep her.
Theo watched as she got flustered at the thought of the missed appointment and chuckled a little as she made her hasty goodbye. He didn't get in much of a rush for anything but he was sure that whoever Hailey was going to meet would understand. The real question though was whether she would give them the real reason she was late or not. "Bye Hailey. I'll see you soon and say hi to your sister for me." Time would tell.

He wasn't sure but he was fairly certain that deer and rabbits were both herbivores. Did they eat different things? Theo decided it wasn't really that important but the joke did get a few chuckles from him. He wondered if he could find a way to change the appearance of whatever treats he procured for them into some leafy greens and decided he would have to check into it before the game night just for fun. "I think I can handle some chocolates and candy if that's what you like. As for that broom I'm sure Saphron will thank you and I'd you're lucky I may show you a pretty neat trick with it."
Watching Hailey he could tell that she was indeed pretty excited for this. He supposed he would be too if he had spent so long as a jackalope and it was then that Theo decided he would try his best to not let her down. It wasn't often that he went to so much trouble for a girl but he thought Hailey deserved this after everything that she had been through. "Unfortunately waiting is exactly what you'll have to do but if it's any consolation at least it will give you something to look forward to all week...if you can go that long without paying me a visit."

As she began to push him back towards the bed he let himself go willingly enough. She was just laying it on way too thick with the whole calling him doctor routine that he couldn't resist. Hailey was turning out to be quite the little firecracker and this was shaping up to be a pretty exciting evening. He was sure those little love bites of hers were going to show too but right now he really didn't care. All that was on his mind right was getting her in bed and playing a little doctor.
As she pushed him onto the bed Theo wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap so that they could resume their kissing. If there was any doubt on how far he would go it was eliminated with his next words as he said "Don't worry. I'm planning on examining every bit of you in fine detail." With that he brought his lips back to hers as he settled in for a very pleasurable evening.

Things were coming together nicely now that the idea of a game night was going through and Theo supposed as dates went that wasn't too bad of an idea. He had certainly experienced a lot worse in his time. What was even better was that it marked the first time that Hailey had willingly planned to spend time with him. That was a pretty big step forward for a girl who could hardly look at him in the eyes when they had first met and Theo was definitely glad that she seemed to be coming out of her nervous shell a little. Who knew, he might even be able to get that kiss from her before their game night was finished and that would make the jewelry wearing and the Candyland all worth it.
"Next Saturday will be fine I think and then you can kick my butt all night long if you wish. You bring the board games and I'll have the jackalope snacks." He shot her a wink in that charming and slightly teasing way he had. He was just kidding with her again but she was probably getting used to that by now, hopefully. "And I'll meet you at the door with those streamers and that confetti but really though I'll be looking forward to it Hailey."

Theo chuckled and shook his head as he listened to Hailey. She was trying but it looked like she still had a long way to go before she could completely open up to him. That was okay. Theo wasn’t going anywhere, at least not yet. Still, she was trying and that should count for something even if she had been out of the game for a while now. “Just let me know before you start angering any more goddesses okay? Maybe next time I can put you in a magic bubble or something.”
When she questioned his skills at pretty, pretty princess he merely gave her a ‘what can you?’ look. He had already bought into the whole game night thing so he might as well go all in. “Don’t hate. Clearly you are missing the deep underlying strategy behind the game. I’ll show you no mercy which, come to think of it, isn’t a very princess attitude to have but it’s the type of cut throat attitude you need to win.” He grinned at her challenge and nodded at her. “You set the date and I’ll be there.”

Theo was a little disappointed when she broke away from him but it was a feeling that didn’t last too long as she began kissing down his neck and hard. Talk about some built up sexual frustration. Hailey definitely seemed to be getting it all out now. He groaned as he stretched his neck out for her to have easier access at what she wanted. As he did so he ran his hands down her body unable to keep from touching her any longer.
She had a nice body. He had noticed that when he had first caught a glimpse of her after changing her back into a human and he was looking forward to finally getting to explore it for himself. Fortunately that didn’t look like it would be much of a problem with Hailey either. “What do you say we get to that full body examination?”

Theo thought about James' comment and shrugged in response. Chiron should have known something but there was no telling what the old centaur's motivations really were. "I'm not really around consistently." He offered by way of explanation. "I mean I didn't even know you were here until I came back and started hearing rumors. It's not like the Hecate and Hephaestus cabin do that much together so we might not have even met otherwise."
Thinking about his cabin made him wonder how his siblings were going to take this. Saph would probably flip her lid when she found out and he couldn't really blame her either his lid was pretty flipped right now too. "All I know is that horse has some serious explaining to do when we get to the big house."
(Yeah that might be good. Especially if we are going to be doing big plot stuff. Let me know what you think)

Theo thought things were going pretty well until Cleo took a turn down a dark line of thinking. He supposed that wasn’t too surprising. Her past couldn’t have been very happy for her but then again that was exactly what it was the past. It didn’t have to define her. Personally Theo didn’t think that it had but there was still some resentment she was holding on to and that was never a good thing. Besides, he didn’t really agree with her that she simply had to accept everything that had happened to her.
“You didn’t ask for any of it, true, and you may not have had much of a say in how things turned out but you do have a say now. I would go crazy if I had to sit here following the camp rules all the time so every so often I disappear for a while and follow my own agenda. The same can be true for you as well even if it’s not leaving camp like I do. You don’t have to accept anything that you’re given and you don’t need any special talents either even though I think you’ve got one or too you might be holding back on. You already know how to take care of yourself and that’s a lot more than most can say.”
He had said a lot and when he stopped he gave her some time to really chew on all of it. In the silence between he ate his breakfast and glanced around at the demi gods going here and there about their day. In a camp where the extraordinary was just plain ordinary it was easy to lose sight of the fact that you were an individual. "I made the choice when I got here that I was going to be different from the rest if only because being different is fun. It’s not hard either. You just do what everyone else is not doing. How about you Cleo? Do you want to be different or are you just going to take what other people give to you?"

“Oh you’re definitely a lot of trouble Hailey Nichols.” He said jokingly. “Dragging young men into the Artemis cabin, making them gut poor defenseless stuffed animals and then forcing them to play games like Pretty, Pretty Princess. For shame.” He shook his finger at her in mock accusation. He didn't really mind her 'trouble'. She had come to the Hecate cabin for help and help was provided. It was even kind of fun despite not having a dark and stormy atmosphere to cast their ultimate de-jackalopifying spell. “Luckily for you I’m a fan of trouble.”
As for his ‘rep’ He wasn’t really sure Hailey knew him that well if she thought he had a rep to protect. The good thing about being a lifelong slacker was you developed the glorious ability to not care what anyone else thought about you. As far as pride or shame went he didn’t really feel it. It was one of the things that allowed him to live so freely. “Well you never know Hailey. I might just surprise you with my princess skills. They may even be enough to rival your Candyland domination. I guess we’ll just have to see.”

Theo led Hailey back to the Hecate cabin fully intending to make good on his promise to insure that the girl was okay. However no sooner had the pair made it in the door that Hailey attacked him with kisses putting most of his plans for thinking about anything other than what they were doing to rest. Initially he tried to slow her down but she gave him no time and before long he was hooked. He spun her around and pressed her back into the door as he kissed her back hungrily.
"Glad…you finally…came…around…” He said in short little staccato words between the breaks in their lips. He hadn’t even suspected that Hailey even had this in her. She had seemed so reserved, so cautious open herself up to him before and yet here they were. He only hoped she did want this as much as she seemed to because at this point he didn’t know if things could be stopped.

“Oh she still might.” He said with a chuckle when thinking about his sister. “She’s not one to forget. Until then I’ll just have to sleep with one eye open. See the trouble you get me in Hailey?” Theo had no doubt Saph was planning some kind of revenge but only time would tell. He wasn’t too worried about it though as most of her revenge tactics were harmless. Besides, he had gotten a chance to flirt with a pretty girl and that made things worth it in the end. Granted he hoped he wouldn’t regret thinking that one of these days.
“I’ll have you know that I look quite dashing in a crown. A regular prince charming if you will. Anyone who says otherwise has clearly never seen me in my regal attire." He wasn't so sure about this pretty, pretty princess game but he could play along with the best of them. Besides, it wasn't like he was in a habit of taking himself seriously and above all the other reasons it was just good to see Hailey relax and have a good time. He liked it and hoped to see more of it.

Theo was about to tell her how he couldn't help but think. That he was just worried about her but then she was kissing him again and gods that was addicting. Not only that but this side of her was so hot. He started to kiss her back but just when he had really begun to get into it she pulled away from him leaving him wanting more and man oh man did he. Fortunately more was offered, a lot more by the sound of it, and that was enough to push him over the edge.
"I don't know about that." He said sounding a little breathless after that last kiss. "Thinking sounds like a very good thing to do...at the cabin. Perfect place to think right? I'm sure once we're there we can conduct a very detailed examination. After all we want to be thorough." It only made sense after all. He couldn't leave her out here if there was something wrong and what safer place was there than the Hecate cabin, in his room, with the door closed. They could make sure everything was okay and then if was well that meant she really did want this and since he wanted it too... "Gods I wish I had a teleportation spell for both of us. Come on!" Taking her hand Theo turned towards the cabins with her and they were off.

Theo chuckled at her Candyland comment. He wasn't sure how that figured into their game night, maybe it was some kind of kinky fetish, some girls were into some pretty weird stuff after all, but if this was any preview he thought it would be a lot more fun than he had originally expected. Still, if Candyland got her motor running why hadn't she taken the bait any of the other times he had flirted with her? It wasn't like he needed any gimmicks to get things started on his part.
Glancing down at her wondering hand he wondered if this really might be an unfortunately side effect of her de-jackalopifcation. If so Hailey might have jumped on the first person to come along which definitely wouldn't have been good. In that case it would be more like he was taking advantage of her and Theo wasn't that kind of guy for all his womanizing ways. That being said, dear gods she wasn't making this easy on him. "A problem? Weeeeell we probably should investigate it a little first just to be safe. There might be other things up too. Wouldn't want you to get horny again right?"

“Hey, I said once you get to know me. How was I supposed to know that our cabin mascot had decided to return to us so soon?" He gave her a charming grin and nodded towards the door. "Next time I'll just have to make sure that I welcome you with confetti and streamers instead of mist and scary voices. Sound like a deal?" That might be laying it on a little thick but that was kind of Theo's specialty anyways. Besides, he thought Hailey knew him well enough by now to not take most of the things he said seriously.
The game night would be interesting though. He wondered if he would finally get to see Hailey come out of her shell like she had started doing tonight. He thought that would make for some pretty good fun in itself. Chuckling at her chutes and ladders comments he added. "Chutes and Ladders too? My how the other cabins will talk. The next thing you know we'll be playing Hi Ho! Cherry-O and think of the rumors then."
