"If I keep testing you?" Daven mocked as she rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips while she turned around to face him. "You're sounding like all talk. I doubt you'd actually do it. It's all just a show. To make you look tough or something." She shrugged her shoulders as she moved her hands down to her side. "Whatever makes you feel good," she said nonchalantly as she turned back around to start heading back to the cabins. Well, more like waddling slightly, since she didn't want her thighs to chafe at all.

"Jackie Chan is still the cooler one though," she retorted as she turned back around to face him. "He's an actor, singer, and movie director. Hell, he had his own cartoon series. Can Bruce Lee claim that?" she asked as she cocked an eyebrow at him. Try as he might, she wasn't going to admit that Bruce Lee was better than Jackie Chan. No way in Hades.

Jay had decided to ignore what she had just done. She had mocked him and she was definitely going to pay for it in a little while but for now he had decided to ignore it. He would want her to forget that she had mocked him so that he would be able to get his pay back without her expecting it and without her being able to prepare for it. She was definitely going to end up back in the water and he didn't care if it meant he had to get in too. He'd pick her up and jump in whilst holding her if he had too.

"You're so stubborn." He replied back to her with an eyeroll. Everyone knew that Bruce Lee was better than Jackie Chan. Daven was just blind and preferred Jackie for some strange reason, arguing against her probably wouldn't do much good either. As he noticed the distance between the pair was increasing, Jay sped up a little and came up next to her, putting his t-shirt over his shoulder. "Sup beautiful?" He asked her, glancing over at her briefly with a smirk.

Daven had a satisfied smirk on her face when Jay decided to drop it. She was right. He was just all talk and show. He wasn't going to actually throw her into the lake like he had threatened. And that read completely fine by her. The last thing she wanted to be was wetter than she was at the moment.

However, he would not let the Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan thing go. Was she really stubborn like he said? Maybe she was, but it didn't change the fact that she liked Jackie Chan. “Stubborn is my middle name,” she snipped back before she rolled her eyes. However, she missed that Jay caught up to her and was still shirtless. And he called her beautiful. Daven's face went bright red as she turned away from him and muttered out an incoherent response.

He believed that stubborn actually did stand quite a high chance of being her middle name. Maybe stubbornness was just a trait that came along with being a child of Persephone. Although he didn't remember Mel being too stubborn...Strange. "Mine's Sun... Which ironic because my dad is Apollo." Jay replied back with a smirk, of course he loved the fact his name was a pun in itself. He was the king of puns. His mother had told him it wasn't intentional and it was just something that all the men in their family had, like a family emblem...but a name.

"Pardon?" Jay questioned as she turned away and muttered something, he wasn't sure if he had done something or if she had something in her eye. He didn't think now was the right time to throw her in the water, but right now he did was curious to see what she had said and why she turned away.

His middle name was really Sun? Daven had to laugh. That was probably one of the most ironic things she could've heard of. She wondered if he was joking like she was about stubborn being hers. But he didn't look like he was kidding, so he was just a walking pun, which slightly made him funnier. But only slightly.

But he wasn't funny in that moment that Daven was completely embarrassed. Did he really have to walk back to the cabins without his shirt on? Daven had to suffer through it, do he should've as well. But he didn't hear her muttering, which made her face go a darker red. “Nothing much,” she repeated a bit louder as she looked over at Jay and gave him a sheepish smile.

The fact that she was laughing at his comment about his name made him grin himself, he knew it was amusing whenever something like this happened. Especially when it really was completely unintentional. Besides, he was chinese. Chinese kids always have some form of tradition in their families and Jay's just so happened to be the boys taking the middle name of 'Sun'. Despite none of his relatives being a demigod, guess he got the lucky draw.

He nodded slightly when she said 'nothing much', she seemed as if she was a little bothered by something. What was it? Now would be a perfect time to throw her in the water. Her mind was occupied. Jay glanced over to judge the distance to the water from where they were. Luckily it wasn't too far away and he could get there pretty quick. "Sounds cool.." He muttered with a grin before stepping in front of her and lowering his body slightly to provide support for himself. He reached out his arms at the same time, one attempting to take hold of her left arm so he could sling it over his shoulder as his other hand tried to get her stomach. Jay's shoulder made its way towards her chest as well so that her weight would land on a secure part of his body. This would be his moment to carry out his words...Hopefully.

Daven wasn't really paying attention to what Jay was doing really until he stepped in front of her. She stopped in her tracks as she raised an eyebrow at him. “Is everything okay…?” she tried to ask before she saw what he was doing. He was going to be true to his word and she was going to be in the lake, again.

She screamed as Jay threw her over his shoulder. “Jay!” she cried out as she squirmed, making this slightly difficult for him so he couldn't easily toss her into the water. However, the fact that he was shirtless wasn't lost on her and she did get a nice view of his backside. At least it would be one nice thing before she found herself in the lake again.

He gave a nod to her as she spoke, although it wasn't much use as he was in the process of following through with his words. When he managed to lift her up he heard her scream and he let out a small laugh, his hand finding it's placing on her and 'accidentally' starting on her ass before he realised where it was or that it wasn't acceptable. "Nope, I told you not to test me." He replied back to her as he looked over his shoulder, he had a pretty good view too. Her behind was right next to his head, this would have been heaven if she wasn't wriggling and he wasn't about to jump into the water and get them both even more wet. Jay brought up his other hand to hold one of the back of her thighs so that his grip wouldn't fail him and she didn't fall on her face. That'd be bad.

His feet were now in the water and he couldn't help but smirk. "Hold your breath beautiful." He called out to her as he continued going deeper before attempting to bring her body forwards, his hand going to support her back as he did so. He really didn't care if she wanted to bring him in with her, he'd have made sure that his threat wasn't empty. Besides, swimming was fun.

Not to test him? Daven thought he wouldn't go through with his threat even though she was clearly wrong. Even though she was heading to certain doom that was the lake, Daven was quite aware where Jay's hand was for a few moments before it moved. Her eyes widened as her face heated up more while she kept wiggling in his arms. She wasn't going to make this easy on him at all.

However, she saw that he indeed walked into the water and warned her to hold her breath before he tossed her into the lake. She screamed shortly before holding her breath so she didn't have a repeat from before. She was submerged for a few seconds before she came up for air as she moved her wet hair out of her face as she glared at Jay. “I swear you like to see me wet,” she said before she stuck her tongue out at him.

This wasn't exactly how Jay pictured his day going. Somehow he had ended up getting wet, not once but twice. The second by choice however. When he went to the lake it was to sit around and relax, not to have a war of who can through the other person in more. He glanced over as Daven came back up and smirked, shrugging before walking deeper into the water. "Well I don't know, you are quite hot so it's just benefiting me." He replied back with a laugh, shrugging as well as he glanced down at her tongue.

Jay moved closer to Daven, swimming past her so that he can be in the deeper side between the pair. "Told you I'd throw you in the lake, love." Jay commented to her, winking as he lowered his body so the water was up to his shoulders.

Daven was expecting a whole slew of responses to her borderline risqué comment, but what she didn't expect was what Jay said to her. He found her hot? That was quite the opposite of what she wanted to hear. Her face completely heated up before she sunk into the water just enough to her nose. This was her very lame attempt of hiding her blush as much as possible from him.

And from this position, she watched Jay as he swam out towards her and then past her. She rolled her eyes as she lifted her head from the water just a bit as she could talk to him. “I wasn't expecting you to follow through with your word, love,” she said as she rolled her eyes. At least her blushed calmed down slightly at this point.

Jay was always one to follow through with his word, especially with any promises that he may make to someone. If he didn't then he would feel too bad. Promises to him is like someone putting their trust in him, if he didn't do it then he'd feel as if it would affect their trust in Jay. He had no idea why she had previously dunked her head under the water up to her nose, it seemed pretty odd and random but oh well.

"Of course I was going to, love. Just wanted you to think you got away with it." Jay replied through a laugh, bringing his hands up to wipe some of the water off his face. He glanced around before looking back over at Daven, "Do you jump into water with all the guys you meet for the first time?" He asked her with a smirk, swimming over to her for a brief second, leaning by her ear. "Also, don't test me in the future." He whispered before continuing to smirk, swimming back slightly, watching her the entire time.

“So evil,” Daven replied as she rolled her eyes. Of course he would do something like that. Lull her into a false sense of security before he acted. She just knew that she needed to watch her back around him in the future or else she would end up in the lake, again. “I only do it with the cute ones,” she said with a smirk as she acted more confident than she felt at the moment.

However, that false confidence wavered when he swam up to her as he whispered into her ear. A shiver ran down her back as she turned to look at him. “No promises,” she said as her confidence came back slightly. But she decided she needed to get out of the lake before she embarrassed herself, again, so she started heading back to shore.

"Yeah definitely, so evil even though I told you I was going to do it. Not my fault you let your guard down." He replied back to her with a smirk, she knew it was going to happen. Jay was definitely not in the wrong here and he definitely was not sorry for getting her wet. Nothing wrong with seeing a hot girl when she's been dunked in the water before hand. "Oh really?" He asked back to her, deciding to make the most of the flirting that was going on.

"Gonna need to promise me." Jay called out to her as she began to make her way to the shore, following her out too and catching up to her but keeping behind her.

“That's still an evil plan,” Daven said as she rolled her eyes. Was it really her fault she thought he was all talk and no show? Not at all, but she knew better now.

“You're crazy if you think I'm doing that. I'm not making any promises,” Daven called out over her shoulder back to Jay. Yes, she risked going back into the lake again, but she didn't mind it that much now. Besides, she knew she couldn't make promises that she couldn't keep or intended to break. “You can't make me promise you anything. How do even know I'll see you again? For all I know, I'd be making a promise to a person I'll never see again!”
