"Evil? Maybe. Gotta admit it worked though didn't it?" Jay teased back to her when she rolled her eyes, she didn't seem too impressed with the fact the guy she had only met a little while ago had just thrown her into the water. Not exactly the most common thing to do on a first meeting and would have probably got Jay hit in a few cases.

Jay couldn't help but laugh once again when she called out to him over her shoulder, he had managed to close the distance between them now. "Aw no promises?" Jay replied back with a playful whine. When she went on to talk about not seeing each other again, Jay rose an eyebrow. If he liked someone he always made sure to meet up with them again. Jay reached down slightly to attempt to grab her hand gently so that he could stop her from walking off. "Daven, we're literally in the same camp. You'll see me again, I promise you that." Jay said to her with a grin, he figured the camp wasn't exactly the easiest of places to try and avoid someone. "Even if I wanted to avoid you, I couldn't. Besides...I don't want to avoid you."

“And that makes you the worst kind of evil, more like an evil genius,” Daven snipped back as she rolled her eyes again. “Having a plan is one thing, but having it work is another. I knew you couldn't keep your nose clean.”

Daven kept walking out of the lake until she felt a hand grab hers. Unless there was some unknown lake monster who liked to hold hands, Jay had grabbed hers. Her face heated up for a moment as she turned to face him. “You'd be surprised,” she said calmly as she shrugged her shoulders. Cody was the one person she thought of that she wouldn't see around camp, but now that changed. “But that's one promise that I can keep. That I'll see you around camp. I can do that.”

"Hey maybe I am an evil genius then. Sounds pretty cool and the bad guys always have the most money in films...So really, who wins out of us two?" He replied back to her, shrugging to her as she rolled her eyes again. He didn't really care if she was actually a little bit annoyed, it was expected when you'd just been chucked in the water. "My nose is clean."

She turned around and Jay gave her a little smile, noticing her cheeks go red. He felt like she was getting worried about them not meeting again and he intended on putting those negative thoughts to an end. If he liked you, Jay would try to meet up as much as possible. "Good, you promise to come see me. I'll promise the same...Not that I need to. I was going to find you anyway." Jay replied back with a cheeky grin, his hand still holding hers.

"You only think your nose is clean," Daven said with a smirk. She knew that Jay couldn't stay on Chiron's good side forever, especially if he was running around throwing girls he barely knew into the lake. "I doubt you can keep it clean for much longer though."

"Alright, then," Daven said as she nodded her head when Jay said he would see her again. "I promise I will come and see you around camp." That was one promise that she could easily make and hopefully keep. It was right at that moment that she realized that she was still holding hands with Jay. Her face blushed horribly as she let go of his hand and turned her back towards him. "I'll see you later then, I guess," she said as she continued wading out of the water. Since she seemed to be in no danger of being thrown back into the lake, again, she headed straight towards her cabin to hopefully dry off and put on a new change of clothes.
