Dakota smiled widely as she watched Maerin's face light up. That was always Dakota's favorite part of the makeover: when it was all done and the person saw their new self for the first time. She watched Maerin look herself over in the mirror and Dakota's expression grew a bit brighter. "I'm glad you liked it," she said as Maerin thanked her. Dakota shook her head when the younger girl said that she owed her one. "You don't owe me..." She didn't let her thought complete as the girl kept rambling on. "Okay, okay," Dakota said as she held her hands up. "You owe me one, okay? I'll collect it later or whenever I need it." Then she wrapped the girl in a hug as she held her close. "Just kick some ass with your new look, okay?"

"Nothing too gaudy," Dakota promised as she started to wash Maerin's hair. After that, she started to work her magic. It took a couple of hours and a lot of imagination on Dakota's part, but the makeover was finally complete. Maerin's hair was shorter and darker just like she wanted, but Dakota managed to get new clothes for her that fit her style. That and a little makeup and the girl who was in her styling chair now was not the girl who walked through her door. "Makeover complete!" she declared as she wiped her hands off on her jeans. "What do you think?" she asked as she whirled around Maerin in her stylist chair towards the mirror.

"Maerin," Dakota repeated as she tucked the girl's name in the back of her mind. She brushed the girl's hair out so there wasn't any tangles and knots in it before she raised her eyebrows. "Darker, huh?" She moved over to the styling station as she pulled out a thing of strands of hair all dyed a different shade of brunette. She held them up to Maerin as she went through the different shades. "I think this one would be the best one." She held up the specific strand she was talking about. "It would really bring out your pretty eyes." Once she decided on the color, she got the dye out and then turned the sink on. "I'm going to wash your hair," he explained as she whirled Maerin in the char and leaned her back. "Then I'm going to cut it and then dye it. Then we'll worry about the rest of your makeover, okay?"

Dakota remained quiet as she looked over the girl while she explained what she wanted. "I think we'll just give you a makeover instead of just a haircut," she said before her expression softened a bit. She put a hand on the younger girl's shoulder as she gently guided her back to the styling stations. "Follow me, hun. I'm Dakota and I'm gonna make sure you have the best haircut and makeover ever."
Once the girl was seated in one of the styling chairs, Dakota got one of the capes and dragged it over the girl before she pumped up the chair so she could get to her hair easier. "Have you thought about going with highlights?" Dakota asked her as she reached over to brush out her hair. She was going to brush it and then wash it before she did anything more permanent to her hair. "I think it would bring out your eyes if you did."

Dakota was actually in her cabin for a change. The Apollos didn't schedule her for a shift today, so she was relaxing on her bed. She was waiting for the nail polish on her toes to dry as she flipped through a magazine. The door opened and she assumed that one of her siblings was back, but then she heard the yelling.
She glanced up from her magazine as she looked over the girl. "There's no need to be yelling," she said as she put her magazine down and got up from her bed. "A little please and thank you will get you things too." She walked over to the girl barefooted as she reached out to grab a lock of her hair. "What are you thinking about doing with it?" Then she noticed the outfit the girl was wearing. "And do you have something... different than that?"

Dakota smirked a bit as William defended his cooking abilities. She chuckled a bit as she noticed he was getting caught up on her outfit, but raised her eyebrows at what he added. "Oh," she giggled before her smirk grew a bit wider. "Help you cook. So... either..." She lifted up two fingers and ticked off each of the points she made. "You want to show off that you can cook with me helping you or you can't really cook and hope my skills would salvage the meal."
She moved past him towards a cabinet where she assumed the wine glasses would be hidden. She pulled out a couple and then opened up the bottle. "How much do you want?" she asked as she poured herself a glass then poured him one too. "Might as well enjoy ourselves if we're gonna cook." She handed him the glass just while looking at him while she took a sip of her wine. She couldn't help but inwardly groaned in pleasure as the wine was much better than what she was expecting.

Okay guys. Since Roxy was so mean to bring this idea into my head, I'm gonna do it. My Dakota is known for leading people on and breaking their hearts before it gets too serious. I kind of want to teach her a lesson.
Basically a son of Anteros is interested in her who's about 19. They flirt, they date, but he really starts falling for her and then that's when she runs.
The twist is that Anteros is the avenger of unrequited love. So his son prayer to his father and then Dakota is targeted.
That's all I have. Except for those two things about him, he's pretty much make him however you want.

Dakota nervously bounced from one foot to the other when she waited for William to open the door. However, it wasn't long before he finally opened the door. "Hey," she said with a wide smile. "I brought the drink just as you asked." She held it out to him just as he looked at the label closely. She shrugged as she managed to slip past him into the cabin. "The Dionysus cabin. Apparently it's one of their specialities... or so they told me."
Her eyes skimmed around the room as she looked it over. She hadn't been in the Demeter cabin until now, but she was a little caught off guard that their carpet was actually grass. "So what are we having?" she asked as she noticed the lack of food. She looked over at him with her eyebrows raised. "Or is this when you tell me you can't really cook and I caught you in your bluff?"

It was seven p.m. that day and Dakota was putting on the finishing touches of her outfit and was making sure that there wasn't a hair out of place. She managed to sweet talk the Dionysus cabin into getting her a bottle of some of their best wine. Ironically, it was their homemade strawberry wine with strawberries they stole from the strawberry fields. Once she decided that her outfit was perfect, she headed out the door. It was after seven, but she figured him waiting a little bit wouldn't hurt him. It wasn't a long trek from the Aphrodite cabin to the Demeter cabin, but she got there. She walked up onto the porch with her bottle in hand as she reached out to knock on the door. Let the date begin. HER OUTFIT |

Two can play this game Dakota thought as she pulled away from him. The reaction she got from him was just priceless. This would be a very fun day after all. She licked her lips before she bit her lower lip and stepped back from him. "I'll see you later, William," she whispered.
But now she was trying to be a nurse. She kept glancing over her shoulder looking at William before he finally left the infirmary. Dakota was running through date outfits in her head. What does one wear to a dinner at a cabin. A slight smirk crept onto her face as the perfect outfit dawned on her. This was going to be fun.

Dakota always loved horses and grew up riding them and showing them in competitions. Once she got older, she didn't have that much time with all her nursing classes, but she was glad there was a stable at camp. She was caught off guard at first to learn that it housed pegasi and not horses, but she quickly warmed up to them.
Her mother gifted Dakota a pegasus during her first month at camp and she named it Blue Sky. It was a beautiful white color, but it almost seemed light blue in some light.
Dakota was in the stables this one day taking care of Blue Sky. Luckily, caring for a pegasus was no different than a horse. She was in with Blue Sky as she was brushing out its coat. The pegasus would nudge her shoulder once in a while and Dakota feed it sugar cubes she kept in her pocket.

"Very bold?" Dakota said with a smirk. "I guess I need to see that sometime... Maybe over dinner? If the situation calls for it." She couldn't believe she already had a date. She was camp here for less than a year, but she guessed it came with the territory of being a daughter of Aphrodite.
Then he did something that she was really not expecting and her heart fluttered. He placed his hand on her upper arm and leaned in towards her. "I know where it is," she muttered as her breath caught in her chest a couple of times as his lips got dangerously close to hers. "Got it."
But then he pulled away and Dakota darkened her look. "Oh," she chuckled as she stepped up closer to him. "We're going to play that game, huh?" She brushed past his lips before she whispered, "I'll see you at your place at seven." She pulled away with a playful look in her eyes as she turned to change the bandage on one of the patients.

"If I knew I wasn't related to you, Aphrodite. Maybe even Eros." She chuckled as she shook her head. This was starting to turn into one interesting day in the infirmary and it all started with a little Bon Jovi.
She kept her arms crossed over her chest as she looked at him. "Much bolder?" she had to laugh. "How much bolder can you be?" She stood there and looked at him as he muttered he was loosing and contemplated what she just said. She was half expecting him to walk away or completely rude about it, but he caught her off guard.
"William, huh?" She uncrossed her arms as she tucked her hands into her pockets, but kept her thumbs out. She chuckled as she nodded her head. "I do like Italian... and my name's Dakota. Dakota King." She pushed herself off the closet wall as she moved to grab a couple more items and then closed the door. "Is that all I can do for you then?"

"Demeter, huh?" Dakota asked as she raised her eyebrows. "You certainly don't act like one." When she handed over the gloves, she felt a stray finger on her inner wrist. She got the shivers, but she also looked up at him with a raised eyebrow with a clear look of what do you think you're doing? on her face.
But then he did something that she wasn't not expecting and she tried not to laugh. "Are you always this bold when you hit on girls?" She leaned against the cabinet wall as she loosely crossed her arms over her chest as she looked at him. "I'm not complaining, but I do prefer to get a name and possibly an invitation to dinner before someone hits on me like that."

"Sculpting, huh?" Dakota said as she looked up at him and studied his face. "You definitely don't look like an Apollo kid." She gave him a weary look before she dropped his hands. "The most I can give you is gloves to help you when you sculpt." She turned on her heels as she opened the cabinet to rummage through it. "Bandages aren't gonna do you good. You'll only get clay underneath them and that's not a pretty sight."
She grabbed a pair and pulled them out of the closet to hand it to him. A slight smirk crept onto her face as he asked her indirectly what her cabin was. "All the Aphrodite boys. All coming in here and flirting with the help. Then nothing gets done."
