Like most campers, Daphne didn't like the climbing wall here at camp. But unlike a lot of campers, she could at least tolerate it on a bad day. On a good day though? It was an excellent source of an adrenaline rush. Then again, you had to play it just right. You couldn't play it too safe or you'd never get the rush. But play it too dangerously though and you could end up injured or dead.
So Daphne thought she was somewhere in the middle at the moment. She was on a ledge about halfway up as she dodged boulders and lava flows. She could've cheated and flown up, but where was the fun in that? Quick feet, she kept telling herself. Quick feet. However, she wasn't paying attention for a moment and barely missed being hit by a boulder. “Not quick enough,” she muttered to herself.

Steven & Daphne: Alrighty. We have two adrenaline junkies here and Daphne hangs out all the time at the Hermes cabin because she has friends there and she's also dating the cabin leader. I see these two being adventure friends. She likes extreme sports, but does surfing mostly at camp. But she has gone sky diving and mountain biking before. Anything in the name of adrenaline!

Daphne’s mind was completely blown away with this one kiss and she wanted more. Her body was ready for more than what he was giving her at that moment. When he pulled away from her lips, she panted as she tried to catch her breath as she looked at him. That fire was back and she swore it was going to consume her unless she did something to put it out. Or, more likely, someone. She bit the corner of her lip as she felt his hands on her rear as he picked her up. She chuckled a bit as she moved to wrap her arms and legs around him so she was secure against him as she gave him a slightly lusty look.

As soon as Marius's lips were back on hers, Daphne kissed him back eagerly. She forgot for a moment that she was making out with her boyfriend in the middle of Central Park. She groaned against his lips as he pressed up against her more and she felt herself pressed up against the tree more. She held him close as she made sure to work over his lips as she felt that fire flare up inside of her. She felt his tongue tease and caress her lips. She parted her lips slightly as her tongue darted out to meet his as she deepened their kiss further.

Daphne squealed as Dante wrapped one of his gigantic arms around her and pulled her in closer before she was tossed over his shoulder like a sack of flour. “Hey!” she cried out as she pounded on his back lightly to get his attention, but not enough to hurt him. “You let me down mister. I believe you, but you need to let me down.” Even if she couldn’t see his face, she could tell that Dante was keeping up the charade. She had to bite her tongue to keep her giggles down, but she failed as she ended up bursting into a fit of giggles. “You should make it out of… you should make it out of…” She couldn’t finish her sentence as she broke down into even more giggles.

Daphne’s giggles subsided for a moment as Marius pulled his lips away from her. But as soon as his lips touched her neck again, she was back to giggling and squirming in his arms. She bit her bottom lip so she could keep quiet as much as possible, but it was hard to do so when he was tormenting her relentlessly. When he finally pulled away, her breathing was ragged as she looked up at her boyfriend. He was teasing her, but his lips were so close to hers. Her eyes glanced down at his lips as she looked back up at him. “Yes,” she said calmly as she tried to keep a serious look on her face. “You’re not kissing your girlfriend. How can I enjoy myself if you’re not kissing her?”

Daphne rolled her eyes at Dante as he made a show of her questioning his skills. He was such a drama queen sometimes that Daphne had to bite the inside of her cheek so she didn’t break down into giggles. She kept her composure as the much as she could for the show he was giving her. She finally dramatically sighed as she lowered her sword. “You know…” she said as she drew out each word. “I was giving you a chance to prove your skills, but if I have dishonored your and your cow…” She pressed a button on the hilt of the sword so it turned back to a pendant in her hand. “I have dishonored my best friend…” She sighed dramatically. “I think I need to leave before I dishonor him more.”

As Daphne kissed Marius, she felt things that she hadn’t felt since the quest and she wanted to act on them. For all she knew, he was trying to bring those feelings back, since she knew quite well how he felt about her. That fire was back in her and she needed more from Marius than his kisses. But his kisses lingered off of her lips and she started squirming as he kissed her neck. “Marius!” she squealed as she tried to control her giggles so they wouldn’t be found. “That tickles!” she giggled as she squirmed in his arms and bit her lower lip.

As they walked through Central Park together, Daphne talked to Marius about her life, her siblings, and basically anything that crossed her mind. She hadn't seen in him a while so she was just saying things to fill the quiet between them. Not that it was awkward between them, but Daphne found out that she had lot to say to him. As they walked, she didn't notice that they started going to a more remote part of the park.
Daphne was going off about training when she squealed as Marius moved to pin her against a tree and kissed her deeply. Daphne wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in closer as she kissed him back. She moved to press up against him as she slightly moaned against his lips.

"Which one?" Daphne asked as she smirked at Dante. "I have two of them now." She was relieved to have a change in conversation. She reached up to rip her necklace off and the pendent turned into a sword in her hands. "I got this one on a mini-quest, but I do have the one with the lightning bolt designs on it." She looked down at her sword before extending her arm to present it to Dante. "But if you think you can make me a better one, then be my guest. I haven't really trusted your siblings to make me a new one. Their craftsmanship isn't like yours."

Daphne for the first time since running into Dante. She shook her head before a genuine smile crept onto her lips. "Nah, I don't think they wear their hair in front of their face. I don't know who even runs them. They've been like this... mysterious group in the camp that people know they're there, but not who they are." She shrugged her shoulders. But she blushed when the topic got turned back onto her as she reached up to comb her hair out of her face. "I've been doing well, I guess," she said with a sheepish smile. "I mean... I'm still cabin leader and I'm dating Marius now." She shrugged her shoulders before she laughed slightly. "I don't think you want my entire biography since you died, do you?"

Daphne raised an eyebrow at Dante. She heard stories of the Underworld, mostly from her mother. But she never thought she would meet someone from there while she was still living. "So it's kind of like a Lotus Casino, but for dead people?" she offered her explanation. It was the only logical thing she could thing of to describe what he was describing. But she shook her head. "But camp has been... okay I guess?" she reached up to comb her hair out of her face. "I mean... we were attacked by the Primordials, but now there's a new group calling themselves the Usurpers. I don't know what they're up to really... it's been making camp feel weird lately." She shrugged her shoulders in an oh well way.

Daphne smiled as Marius pulled her in close as she wrapped her arms around him. She closed her eyes and steadied herself, since whenever she teleported with him, she always felt unsteady. She didn't feel the teleportation and the only clue that they had even switched locations was the wind. They were outside in the middle of central park. She smiled widely as she looked around before she looked up at Marius. Her smile faded a bit as she looked at him slightly concerned. She knew that teleporting wore him out and he could go short distances reasonably. She didn't know if a trip to the city was pushing his limits or not.
But he seemed to be okay as he leaned in to kiss her quickly. Daphne untangled herself from his arms as she reached to grab his hand. "Ready as ever," she said as she gave him a smile and tugged on his hand as she led him deeper into Central Park.

Daphne hugged Dante as she buried her face into his chest slightly. She still couldn't believe he was back in the flesh and blood even though she was holding him. Part of her was afraid to let him go or else he might disappear all over again. A few more tears streaked down her face before she took a step back and looked up at him. "Okay," she said softly as she smiled sadly up at him. He was here and he was alive even if all logic said otherwise. She smiled a bit more as she moved to push her hair out of her face. "And I guess I've been alright since you..." She laughed slightly as she shook her head. "How long has it been anyway? Three, four years?"

Daphne giggled as Shogun messed with her hair. She liked Marius's little monkey companion and missed him very much during the quest. She let out a small sound of protest as Shogun hopped from her shoulders onto Marius, but she giggled more as the monkey seemed to be putting up a protest to their New York outing. She giggled even more as Shogun hopped onto her shoulders again and made a bit production of begging. He was cute and Daphne thought about letting him tag along, but she hadn't been alone with her boyfriend for quite some time.
She shook her head. "Sorry little buddy. Maybe next time you can join in." Shogun seemed to pout for a moment before he hopped off her shoulders and disappeared into Marius's room. She didn't give it a second thought before she looked up at her boyfriend and cocked an eyebrow at him. "You ready to get going then?"
