Daphne pressed her lips together as she blushed harder. They still had a little longer to wait, which mean Marius had a little longer to tease her. She shifted uncomfortably in his arms before he pecked her on the cheek again. She didn't know why she felt so uncomfortable with Marius being shirtless, but there was memories from the quest and how he looked and how she felt...

She shook that image out of her head as she pressed her lips again. "Umm..." she tried to think as she pushed more of those images out of her mind. "We could go to China Town... or maybe find an Italian restaurant? Does that sound good to you?"

Daphne knew that Marius was teasing her, since that seemed to be his favorite past time since they met each other. It seemed to be a little bit worse since they started dating. Her cheeks heated up again as he pecked on before he left her sight. She covered her eyes again as she waited for him to get fully clothed again. She heard the rustle of clothes, but kept her eyes covered because she still wasn't sure if he was messing with her or not.

But he asked her where she wanted to go first in the city and that took her mind off of the pontentionally naked boyfriend in the room with her. "Umm..." she said as she pressed her lips together. "I do want to go to Central Park... and maybe see Times Square?" She hadn't thought about it much. She was excited to just get out of here since the quest, so whatever they did once they got there didn't matter to her much.

She felt hands on her waist as she was pulled close to him. She uncovered her eyes only to be met with his bare chest. "Umm..." she muttered as the blush returned to her cheeks as she looked up at her boyfriend. "You're only half dressed."

It was still so weird to Daphne that her best friend was now her boyfriend and now they made plans. Dates. As a couple. It was still a weird concept to her, but she liked it at the same time. Like today, Marius promised her that they would sneak out of camp and go to the city. That was one plan she couldn't refuse, since Daphne didn't like being at camp for too long and she was itching to leave after their quest.

Marius told her to meet him at his cabin before they left. Daphne knew she was early as she arrived on the steps of the Hermes cabin, but she couldn't wait to leave. She knocked on the cabin door out of courtesy before she let herself in. She looked around and saw Marius wasn't in the main part of the cabin, so she walked over to where his trap door was. She opened it up and dropped into his room.

"Hey Marius..." Her eyes widened before she quickly diverted them as she covered them with her hand for extra measure. "Oh gods... I am so sorry Marius... I didn't mean to... I'm sorry..."

Daphne only nodded her head when Bella Donna said it was a pleasure. Was it really? She watched silently as Bella Donna moved over to the seats and called her cat. Daphne looked down at he feet just in time to see the little furball romp away from her and towards its owner. She looked back up at Bella Donna and pressed her lips together as she looked at her. The world is a hard place. She didn't need to tell her that. She already knew. She already lost her friends and her first love and she knew deep down she was scared to lose Marius too, especially after all they went through together on that quest.

Daphne was completely lost in her thoughts before something caught her off guard and made her look at Bella Donna with a confused face. You are strong though… that much is clear. She barely met her and she already had that assumption? She pressed her lips together as she looked and listened to Bella Donna. Maybe she was quick to judge and quick to mistrust her. She took a couple of deep breaths as she slowly nodded her head. "Thank you," she said as a slight blush crept onto her face. "Maybe I'll find you to help me train? I mean... the Ares cabin does get boring after a while... there's only so much butt kicking you can do to a cabin, you know?"

As Daphne sobbed, she let the arm with the pistol drop down by her side. She honestly didn't know what to think at the moment. What was this world coming to? Her friend was back from the dead. She didn't know how to process it all, so crying seemed to be the most logical explanation. Through her tears, she saw Dante's hand extended towards her. She sniffled a bit before she reached up to place his pistol in his hand.

"It still doesn't make sense," she muttered as she looked up at him, despite she knew her cheeks were tear stained. She sniffled a couple of more times before she walked towards him to give him a big hug.

Daphne stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the car wasn't the only thing in the clearing. No. It couldn't be. It had to be her imagination. She shook her head and blinked a couple of times trying to clear her head, but it was still there. He was still there. Dante was back from the dead. Or someone or something that was acting like Dante.

"I... uhh..." she managed to stutter out as she tried to process everything. This was too much. Too much. He sounded just like him. Hades, what was going on here. Before she could process a reasonable explanation on why he was back, Daphne did the most logical thing she could think of. She screamed as she turned on her heels and went to bolt out of the clearing and away from this Dante impersonator.

Daphne was still confused at the little tiger running around at her feet and rawring and rubbing up against her. It was acting like a normal cat, but... it was a tiger cub? Daphne was almost convinced she worked herself up and she was exhausted to the point of hallucinating. She sharply lifted her head as she heard a voice. Her mind immediately went back to that night in her cabin and how his voice was all over, but she couldn't see him. This voice was different, a bit softer, but it still made Daphne's heart beat in her chest. She looked around before she made eye contact with a pair of violet eyes. "Not alive?" she asked only to get distracted by the cub tugging on her shoelaces. "Hey!" she said as she looked down at the cub and tugged away her shoe from it.

She looked up as the girl finally appeared... more like materialized in front of her and called away the cub from her feet. Are you okay? Daphne knew the answer to that, but wasn't sure if she wanted to bother a stranger with her woes. She didn't say anything until the girl introduced herself, but she felt herself become a little guarded. "I'm Daphne," she said shortly as Bella Donna continued to introduce herself.

"You're a Nyx kid..." Daphne said as she crossed her arms and looked down at her feet. "Chiron mentioned you'd be coming at our last cabin leader meeting." She sighed loudly as she pushed her hair out of her face with one hand and let her other arm drop. "You might as well know. Everyone else knows because of the rumors that fly around." She gestured to herself. "I'm what you would call the camp freak around here. I have nightmares. Vivid nightmares. A few years ago, I was kidnapped by Xenos, a Nyx kid, and was taken to Nevada only to have my body possessed by a.... shadow thing." She felt chills run down her spine as the memory hit her. "I was possessed for a few weeks, trying to fight that thing. I still have nightmares from them." She nodded her head towards the dummy. "That's what I do when I wake up from them and can't sleep. Chiron has to replace another dummy."
