Gone Away (Quest Thread Thingy)

Daphne was so focused on getting Marius to the car and her trying to calm her blush down that she was completely caught off guard when he tugged on her hand to pull her back to him. She stumbled a bit into his chest as her face grew redder as she looked up at him. That damn smile of his making all the feelings she had a few moments ago become more intense. "I heard part of what you said," she tried to defend herself as she look over his shoulder, trying not to let herself get too embarrassed. "You wanted to see the car and I was going to show you where it was..."

"Doesn't explain how you were spacing out for ninety percent of what I said. What was distracting you so much?" Marius asked her with a slight grin. One of his hands moved to gently force her to look at him. Their faces were only a few mere inches away from each other. "Maybe I should use that coercion idea of yours that you seem to love to use on me." The thief told her before leaning a little closer to her. "Tell me." He gently demanded before giving her a quick kiss.

Daphne thought she was doing a wonderful job of trying to avoid looking at Marius and avoiding his question before he turned her face to look at him. Her face heated up even more as her eyes unconsciously glanced at his lips. Her breath caught in her chest as he leaned a bit closer before finally kissing her quickly. Her eyes fluttered a moment before she finally caved in. "I was thinking how much of a beautiful man you were," she muttered to him as she threw his earlier words back at him. Her face heated up even more as she tried to pull away from him so she could lead him to the car.

Marius smiled extra wide at her when she admitted what had distracted her so badly. Though now that he knew it was about him, there was no way he was going to let it drop so quickly. His arm held her close to him still, making sure she couldn't get away from him that easily. "So you like how I look?" The son of Hermes asked her as he watched her. He leaned in close to her with a smirk. His hand made sure she couldn't look away from him, wanting to tease her a little bit.

There was no way that Daphne wasn't getting out of this situation. He was holding her close and Daphne's face kept getting redder and redder as he made sure that she looked at him. She bit her lower lip as she squirmed a bit feeling quite uncomfortable in the situation. "Yes," she muttered to him as her eyes darted down to his lips. She remembered about how good they felt against her and imaged how they would feel on other parts of her body... Her face went a deep crimson and her heart skipped a beat as he leaned in closer to her. "Can we go to the car now?" she muttered to him as she kept glancing down at his lips.

"In a little bit, I want to do something real quick first." Marius whispered to her with a wide grin on his face. His hand moved to brush her hair out of her face. "And you aren't exactly in a position to get away from me at the moment." His forehead touched hers as he moved his lips a little closer to hers. A smile on his lips at how red she was getting. "But I have a feeling that you were thinking about something similar to what I want to do." The son of Hermes said to her before pressing his lips against hers.

Daphne was not sure how red from embarrassment she could possibly get without dying as Marius kept teasing her. Her heart pounded in her chest as he brushed her hair out of her face and kept teasing. Daphne had a feeling what was going to happen next, but everything kept going in slow motion. His forehead pressed against hers and it took forever for his lips to finally press against hers. She kissed him back hard as she pressed against him. She wrapped her arms around him as she focused on kissing him, teasing his lower lip with her tongue as she got a bit of revenge.

Marius groaned softly as he felt her tongue against his lip. "Gods..." He moaned out softly before he deepened the kiss. His arm tightened around her to press her against him as much he could. His other hand moved to grab her waist and help hold her against him. The thief's tongue snaked out to meet hers briefly before pulling away from her. A smirk on his face as he looked down at Daphne. "How does that match up to what you were thinking about?" He asked her with a soft chuckle as he leaned his forehead against hers.

Daphne smirked a bit as she heard the groan and moan from Marius thinking that her revenge played out just perfectly. She kept kissing him as he held her close while she pressed up against him. She got the shivers as his tongue met hers, but groaned when he pulled away. She panted a bit as her eyes fluttered close slightly. "Pretty close," she whispered to him before she leaned in to peck his lips before pulling away from him. "Can we go to the car now?" she asked with a bit of a smirk. "We're on a quest, remember? Or did that bull mess with your head too?"

"Not the bull." Marius told Daphne with a slight chuckle as he tried to clear his head a bit after that kiss. His eyes watching her as she pulled back from him. "Something infinitely more beautiful and pleasant did that." The son of Hermes told her before letting her go and waiting for her to lead him to the car. "Though honestly, that bull did leave a mark or two." He winced as he leaned down to rub his leg, which still had a bandage on it for a particularly nasty cut that was still healing.

Daphne smirked a bit when she could tell that Marius was in a slight daze after their kiss. She giggled a bit as she reached down to grab his hand and gently pull him towards the door. However, she stopped when he winced and rubbed his leg while she narrowed her eyes at him. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked him as she looked up at him and raised an eyebrow at him. She didn't press the issue as she walked him to the garage.

It wasn't long before they were in the garage. She let go of his hand as she moved to remove the drop cloth from the car. "Here it is," she said as she glanced over at Marius.

An extra wide grin appeared on his face as he saw the car. "Now, this is beautiful." He muttered to himself as he looked over the car. "And don't worry about my leg. We had to get moving for a reason, remember?" The son of Hermes tried opening the door for a moment before quickly picking the lock when he discovered it was locked. "I can walk and it would take at least a week and a half to let this thing heal up completely, and we don't have that time."

Daphne dropped the drop cloth as she kept watching Marius making sure that he wasn't in too much pain. "Yeah, we got to make you feel better." She reached up to brush her fingers across the hood before she moved to pop up it up. "I'm making you take ambrosia until you heal up," she warned him as she finally opened the hood and looked at the engine. "It looks likes it should be good." She glanced over to the side as she looked at Marius. "Do you need to hotwire it?" she raised an eyebrow at him wondering if he found keys or not.

"I think so." Marius said with a slight frown as he dug through the car to try and find the keys to it. It grew more pronounced as he continued to search. After a while, he got out of the car and looked around some of the shelves. "Did you find the key?" The son of Hermes asked as he continued searching, not really wanting to have to tear up a classic car like that. His frown got bigger and bigger as he searched for the key. "Found one." He said as he grabbed a key. "I don't know if it's the right one though."

Daphne furrowed her eyebrows when Marius said he had to hotwire the car. She pushed herself away from the car as she rummaged through the boxes and bags that were piled up. After a couple of moments, she looked at the bookshelves opposite the ones Marius was going through. She pulled off a rusty box off the shelf and opened it, revealing a collection of keys. "I think I might have found something?" After digging through the keys, she pulled out one that had a Chevy logo engraved onto it. "Is this it?" she asked as she held the key up to Marius as she glanced down at the key in his hand. "But that one looks like it could work too..."
