Gone Away (Quest Thread Thingy)

[Daphne Scotts]

"Whoah," Daphne said as she put her hands up in surrender. "Fine. I thought I was doing nice, but we'll both share the bed. I just don't want you on the couch with all those injuries you have. It would probably make them worse." She shrugged a bit as walked into the room and picked up her bag to properly set it on the table. "Just don't hog the covers, okay?" she said with a bit of a smirk as she grabbed her bathroom stuff and quickly got cleaned up in the bathroom. It wasn't long before she came back out in her PJ's and flopped onto the bed.

Marius chuckled softly at her little comment about the covers. He pulled off his shirt and switched his pants to a pair of pajama pants while she was in the bathroom, moving to lie down on the bed and letting out a brief sigh. He waited for Daphne to come out of the bathroom as he got himself comfortable on the bed. A blush on his face as he remembered the thoughts that the Joker had put in his head. The son of Hermes turned to look at her and smiled when she got out of the bathroom, hoping the blush wasn't too bad.

Once Daphne flopped on the bed next to Marius, she moved so that she snuggled up in the covers as she turned over to look at him. She cocked an eyebrow at him as she noticed the blush on his face. "What's wrong?" she said with a bit of a smirk. "Haven't been in bed with a girl before?" she teased him as she scooted up a little bit closer to him. "You could take the couch if you're that uncomfortable." She giggled a bit as she reached out to brush her fingers along his arm. "But I do like the company a lot."

Marius inhaled shakily and muttered another curse in ancient Greek, something that was quickly becoming a habit to him on this quest. "N-no, I'm fine." His blush increased as her proximity did not help him control his imagination that was being fueled by the Joker. "Just thinking about a few things." The son of Hermes almost jumped when he felt her touch his arm. The light contact making him even more nervous. It was getting really difficult to control himself with her teasing him like that and his own mind was not helping in the slightest.

"Are you sure?" Daphne teased him with a slight giggle as she saw the blush on his face grow a little darker. "Because you're sure not acting like it..." She became a little more insistent with her touches as she stroked his arm more. "What were you thinking about?" she asked him in a low tone with a smirk. "It couldn't be about my beautiful self, could it?" She giggled a bit as she ducked her head closer to his so that her lips were only a couple of inches away from his. "Than again, I don't blame you. Being in bed with someone as pretty as me can be pretty daunting and a lot to think about."

Marius's breathing quickened and his blush deepened as Daphne continued teasing him. His eyes kept darting away from her eyes to look at her lips, the fingers on his arm, her chest, and just her figure in general. Yet another ancient Greek curse left his lips in a whisper. He swallowed at the tone of her voice, finding it impossible to tear his attention away from her. "Yeah..." The obviously caught off guard son of Hermes answered her question. His eyes widened and he moved away so that his head was laying flat on the mattress when she suddenly moved closer. His blush getting much worse as he looked up at her.

Daphne smirked a bit wider as she noticed Marius's eyes dart all over her body, but especially her lips. She licked hers slightly before she bit her lower lip as he moved his head away from hers and laid down on the bed. Daphne propped herself so she partially laying on him and hovering above him. She kept her lips close to his as her hair created a curtain for them. "Is everything alright?" she whispered to him as she moved her fingers from his arm to trace along his lips. "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better or get rid of those thoughts?"

Marius drew a shuddering breath as he felt her fingers trace his lips and her hair brushing against his skin. "Daphne..." Her name escaped his lips in a breathy whisper as he tried to control his obvious reactions to the way she was teasing him. Everything she was doing right then was driving him absolutely crazy and he didn't know how much longer he could stand it. It was hard to focus on her words. Her lips and those damn fingers of hers made it very difficult to concentrate on anything at all. After a few seconds, he moved suddenly to try and press his lips against hers and kiss her.

This was sweet, sweet revenge for all the teasing Marius did to her earlier in the day. He was getting a taste of his own medicine for all the embarrassment that he put Daphne through. She watched his reactions with amused eyes as she kept tracing her fingers along his lips. However, he tried to move and kiss her, but she pulled away just as he laid one finger against his lips. "Nuh uh," she told him as she shift so she straddled his waist as she moved to push him back against the bed with her hands on his shoulders. "I don't think you should be allowed to kiss me quite yet." She chuckled as she leaned forward so her face was hovering over his. "I think I'm going to return the favor from what you did to me this morning."

Marius did not like this at all. It was getting to be torture at this point and all he wanted to do at this point was kiss the beautiful girl on top of him. He muttered a particularly vile curse in ancient Greek under his breath. Something that was beginning to become quite the habit. "Daph..." The son of Hermes nearly whined to her as he struggled a bit to try and get up. His eyes widened when she said it was revenge for earlier today and had a feeling that this was not going to be ending anytime soon for him.

Daphne tightened her grip on his shoulders a bit to make sure that he stayed down against the bed. She smirked a bit when she realized she was wearing a particularly baggy shirt. "What?" she replied to his whine as she dropped her shoulder a bit so the curve of her neck meeting her shoulder was exposed. It went a bit further down her chest and she blushed slightly as she bit her lower lip as she looked down at him. "It's not going to be too bad," she whispered to him as she moved to straddle his stomach a bit before she sat up and let go of his shoulders. She played with the hem of her shirt a bit as she gave him brief peeks of her stomach and naval ring.

Marius swallowed again and stopped his struggles when she started teasing him with little flashes and peeks at her. His eyes widened even further at it as his breathing got heavy. "Gods..." He muttered under his breath as his eyes kept darting back and forth between the pieces of skin she was quite obviously teasing him with. The thief's hands moved up to brush his fingers against her arms, following them up until his hands grabbed hers. "I want you." He growled lowly to her as he decided he had enough of her teasing.

Daphne chuckled softly as she watched Marius as she gave the little peek show to him. She was about to move her hands to expose her other shoulder when his hands moved to grab hers. She cocked an eyebrow at him before he growled. Then fire ignited in her stomach with all those feelings she was feeling earlier in the day. She didn't say anything as she intertwined their fingers as she leaned closer to his face. She didn't hesitate as she moved to kiss him thoroughly. She pressed up against him as she moved slightly so he could move from underneath her if he needed to.

Marius kissed her back passionately, meaning to put everything he was feeling from her teasing into the kiss. He wanted to make sure she wouldn't even remember her own name after the kiss. He used his grip on her hands to pull her down slightly to make sure she stay on top of him when she shifted to let him move. His tongue slipped against her lips. The son of Hermes let go of her hands to wrap his arms around her and let his hands explore her back. A low groan escaping his throat as he thoroughly enjoyed the kiss.

Daphne was thoroughly enjoying this kiss with all the passion and everything he felt in this one kiss. She inwardly groaned from how his lips were making her feel. She felt her mind slowly go blank as she focused more on her body and her physical wants and needs. She kept herself pressed up against him as she deepened the kiss. Her tongue darted out to play with his as he let go of her hands. Immediately, one went to the back of his head and cradled it while the other cupped his cheek. She moved so one of her legs was pushing in between his as she made sure to keep pressed up against him as much as possible.
