Gone Away (Quest Thread Thingy)

[Marius Rodomonte]

Marius moved one of his hands to the small of her back as he deepened the kiss. Though a groan escaped his lips when she put of her legs in between his. He pulled away from her lips a few minutes later to catch his breath, looking up at her with lust clouded eyes. His hands kept her pressed up against him. "Gods..." The thief said as he laid his head back against the bed once again. After what seemed too long, he moved his head back up to press his lips against hers for another kiss.

Daphne squirmed a bit as he rested his hands on her lower back, but continued kissing Marius as she pressed up against him. She let out a small sound of protest as he pulled away from her lips. She took heavy, labored breaths as she looked down at him. Lust was clouding her mind and she didn't mind it at all, especially with the look Marius was giving her. It wasn't long before his lips were on hers once more. She kissed him back hard. She gripped his hair slightly as she used her leg in between his to press up against him. Her hand that was cupping his cheek strayed away from it as she brushed her fingers along the curve of his neck before they trailed down his chest.

Marius nearly chuckled at the sound of protest that escaped Daphne's lips, but he had ignored it in favor of the kiss they were currently in the middle of. A shudder ran through his body at the feel of her. Her fingers and legs teasing him to the edge of the breaking point of his restraint. His hands traveled a little lower to grab her butt through her clothes and held her like that as he shifted a bit to get a little more comfortable. His injured leg hit her leg and sent a jolt of pain through him, making him pull his lips away from hers with a hiss of pain.

"Huh?" Daphne muttered as Marius pulled away with a hiss. Her mind was slowly starting to work, since his lips completely shut down her brain. After a couple of moments, her eyes narrowed once she realized that he was in pain. "What did you hurt?" she asked him as she pulled away from him and untangled herself from his arms. She got off of him and immediately went to her bag where she pulled out her impromptu Marius care kit she made while they were in the abandoned house. "Here," she said as she handed him a piece of ambrosia ignoring any protests he tried to give her. "You're going to eat this now and then we're going to sleep."

Marius reached for Daphne when she pulled away from him, not wanting her to go anywhere. "Come back." His voice was soft as he tried to get her to stop fussing over him and return to what they had been doing before. "I want you, Daphne. Come back here." He said while his hands grabbed her and pulled her close when she brought the ambrosia to him. The son of Hermes ate it to stop her fussing, but pouted a little bit when she stopped him from continuing what they had been doing.

"And I want you to feel better," she snipped at him as she allowed him to pull her close. She was borderline glaring at him as she watched him eat the ambrosia and proceeded to pout a bit afterwards. "I need you healthy for this quest," she told him as she looked at him in the eyes. "And I can't have you get hurt from a little bit of kissing." She sighed as she moved to push his hair out of his face as she leaned in to kiss his forehead. "We need to get some sleep, okay? We need all our energy since we're seeing a god tomorrow and I have no clue if he'll be nice or not."

Marius grumbled a bit when she kissed his forehead and explained her reasoning, hating the recent turn of events that happened just because of his leg. He moved to lie on his side and pulled her close to himself. "Fine, but you don't get to move away then." The thief said as he hugged her against himself. Her back pressed against his chest as his arms wrapped around her waist. "If you're going to leave me frustrated like this, then you get to stay with me." He told her as he kissed the top of her head.

Daphne smiled softly as Marius finally gave in and laid down on the bed. She giggled a bit as he moved her to lay down with him and positioned her so that they were spooning. "Don't worry," she whispered to him as she shifted a bit to make herself comfortable. "I wasn't planning on sleeping on the couch." However, her face really heated up when she felt how frustrated Marius had become. She squirmed a little bit as she bit her lower lip. "You're really frustrated, aren't you?" she commented to him as she tried to ignore the fact, but her face kept heating up as she tried to relax and fall asleep.

"Thank you for noticing." Marius said with a slightly annoyed tone in his voice as he hugged her a little tighter. "But there's nothing we can do about it right now." He kissed the top of her head. "Now get to sleep before I decide to try and change your mind." He felt a little satisfaction about the bright blush on her face. The son of Hermes sighed softly as he tried to relax a bit despite his frustration. His eyes closed and his breathing started to even out.

Daphne couldn't help but feel horrible. She built him up so much, but then had to stop him because of his injuries. She squirmed a bit more, but she could feel his frustration more. She took deep breaths as she tried to stay still as much as possible as she tried to ignore it. Her eyes close as she took deep breaths. It wasn't long when she joined Marius in the even breathing and slowly drifted off to sleep herself.

Morning seemed to come a little too early that day. Daphne groaned as she cuddled into Marius and hid her face into the blankets to block out as much light as possible so she could sleep some more.

Marius growled very softly in his sleep when Daphne started moving way too early in the morning. He hugged her a little tighter against himself, hoping that would stop her from moving as he buried his face into her hair. "Too early..." The thief complained. His eyes tried to shut tighter, hoping to block out any light. "Don't wanna wake up." He mumbled against her hair before frowning, downright refusing to getting up right now. He still felt exhausted from the stupid stunt he had pulled to get the map they had on them.

Daphne groaned as Marius pulled her closer to himself. That little bit of movement caused her face to be pulled away from the sheets, exposing her to the sunlight, and Daphne scrunched up her face as she groaned. "Too early..." she echoed him as she moved a bit so she could pull the cover up and over their heads so the light was blocked off once more. "Better," she sighed as she relaxed and cuddled into Marius. Her breathing slowly evened out once more as her body started to relax. It wasn't long before she was finally drifting off into dreamland once more.

It was a while latter before Marius let out a groan and started moving to get up, unable to go back to sleep now. He tried not to disturb Daphne as he got out of bed and disappeared into the bathroom to take a shower and get changed. The thief reappeared a few minutes later in clean clothes and with a towel around his shoulders. His hair still slightly damp. He moved to sit on the bed next to his companion and moved the sheet just enough to uncover her head. He brushed her hair out of her face and smirked softly.

Daphne groaned as Marius got up and pulled away from her. She stirred a bit, but decided to sprawl out on the bed making sure to take up the warm spot he just vacated. Daphne tried to hold onto sleep, especially with her head underneath the covers, but she lost that plan when Marius came back and uncovered her head and pushed her hair out of face.

"Morning," she muttered to him as she looked up at him with sleepy eyes. She sat up slightly so she could peck his cheek. "Mmm..." she muttered as she got a whiff of what he had on. "You smell good," she chuckled a bit as she moved to nuzzle her head into the crook of his neck.

"Morning, beautiful." Marius said as he wrapped his arms around Daphne when she moved to nuzzle his neck. A soft chuckle escaped his lips when she told him about how he smelled. "Thank you." He took the compliment with a smirk as he thought about getting a little bit of revenge for last night. "Did you sleep well? I had a little bit of trouble sleeping last night." The son of Hermes commented as his smirk grew a bit. "I had a whole bunch of ideas just floating about in my head." He then whispered a good portion of those ideas to her, keeping a few of them to himself.
